Stages.. Since I can't read japanese,
1st row: Stages 1.2.3.
2nd row: Stages 4. 6
3rd row: Stages 1.2.3.4.
4th row: Stages 2.5.
5th row: No stages playable

Past stages. Corneria & rainbow cruise.

As for Neautral stages, both players can agree on what stage 2 play on.

The first known Brawl tourney was at E For All. ;)

I'm wondering how the 3-stock rule works out. From what I've played it's harder to get KOs in Brawl, or at least currently with players less familiar with combos and gimps.

Haha, yeah, don't go advertising this as the first Brawl tourney.
Neal won that one at E for All and then the electricity blew out at the Nintendo booth. Haha.
Go Gimpy! (too bad Bowser is bottom tier in Brawl too)

Man I love brawl so much now I can't to get this game I wanna see my matches soooooooooo bad I didn't think that the first tourny of brawl would be so intense!!!!

I hated going back and forth between taping matches and watching the Super Bowl. But it was worth it.

I have singles, Gimpyfish will have teams.

Pretty sure he just means high level players from Melee playing Brawl... I lol'ed too though.

Um... the tourney was pretty ****ing intense!!!
Believe it or not, I believe we have just set the standard for what is to be expected in Brawl competitive play.
I didn't think the finals of the tourney would be this intense since it's only been a week after the release but... wow... It was awesome!!!

Yea well DC should win, marth is SO much better than most of the characters. His faster and a little stronger than before, he jsut has less reach. Side B sucks balls though, no more recovery.



How many people were there, and who got 3rd?

Really looking forward to seeing Marth dominate tournaments. Never seen that one before.

Actually, they did set the standard for what is to be expected in Brawl competitive play, seeing as how it's the first tournament, so there are no other standards to go by.
