on the way home from gamestop, im gonna shout at my parents to drive faster."Who care's if you get a ticket!?!?! This is BRAWL we're talking about here!!!"
Then i'll hop out of the car and run home.
(imagine a skinny asian kid running along side ur car on the freeway)
I'll get the 3 huge bottles of MDew i bought b4 hand and bring drink exactly half of one immediateley.
Then i'll play a few minutes of Gears of War for a few minutes. (So i dont hurt my Xbox's feelings when i play the wii for 24 hours straight.)
then i'll drink the other half of the Dew.
then i'll slap my self, telling myself i can do this.
bam...i hit the floor from being so excited.
then i'll play Brawl.
The day after during school, when the teacher speaks, all i'll here are sounds from Brawl. and when some one says brawl ill wet myself and faint...not really in that order.

During PE ,when someone jumps, i'll here the sound Mario makes when he jumps.

1. Stare at the Box art at some various game store
2. Curse at the fact I can't afford a Wii.
3. Go back and play some more Halo 3, hoping my friend doesn't spend all his money on his girlfriend and buy SSBB.
4. Hit my friend for spending all his money on his Girlfriend.

Because I'm a poor man with a Xbox360 that was bought upon it's release. >> I had money then.

8.Laugh hysterically as my life as I know it descends into the depths of Nintendos Grasp

At least I know I'm not the only one who cleans his room before a major game. Did it for Twilight Princess and final Fantasy XII.

Well...

Clean my Room
Throw away all of the useless stuff in the case
Put the Disc In...
Never go to school again.

Probably the same thing as Melee
1) Grab my 3 Smash friends
2) Everyone goes out together and picks up the game
3) Choose our mains
4) Go to a hazardous level to practise while coping with the new physics and trying to no get run over my cars (Mute City was the melee stage).

That's easy, I'm going to go to Nintendo World at Rockefeller Plaza in midtown Manhattan (which is only a short walk from my apartment), and pick up the copy of Brawl that I reserved, take it downtown to my girlfriend's apartment because right now my 52" widescreen tv is at her place for the time being. I'll get a bunch of snacks together, sit on the couch in front of my my massive tv, open the game, breeze through the instructions manual but not read every little thing, then insert the game, and watch the opening.

Then I'm going to browse through the game modes and options. Look for things to be unlocked and such. Then go to practice mode to see the character selection screen and get really excited.

Then select Snake and pick whatever stage will be equivalent to Final D that doesn't kill you. Then just get a good feel for all of his moves. Once I've done that, I'll probably try to beat the adventure mode in one sitting, and after I do that, see if I get a trophy, sticker, or whatever else Brawl will have.

After that, I'll go to the VS. mode and test out the difficulty of the CPU players. Then I'll just play and play and play, only with Snake, to make sure I have more experience with him than anyone else cuz I'll sit there for longer and practice more, ensuring that I am the most experienced Snake player in the country.

Then for the next weeks, months, years, etc. Make sure to keep my position as the most experienced Snake player by playing with him more than anyone. I know everyone already has like 5 characters they definitely want to try out in Brawl, so while everyone is doing that, I'll be putting all my focus on Snake so that I can say I'm the best Snake player there is. In ya faces!

1) Read the Box while walking home.
2) Rush to my Wii + tear the plastic off and put the disc in
3) Watch the whole intro
4) Go through most of the menus and see all the extra modes added
5) Do a few warm-up matches with some of the newcomers to get a feel for them.
6) Practice playing with the different types of controlers.
7) Once I'm comfortable with controls and the feel of the game I'll do Adventure Mode.

1. This is one of the more special games, like Twilight Princess was, so I'm going to have to clean my room before I even open the box.

2. I'll carefully pull off the vaccum sealed rap, and open the box. I will then glance through the instuction booklet. I always read the book before playing a new game, another traditin of mine.

3. Poor myself a glass of Kool-Aid, feed the disk to my Wii, let it load, and sit through the opening.
Thats EXACTLY what I do, too. Well, except for maybe the Kool-Aid part.

I'm gonna have to wing it come December 3rd. I know its a monday, but I don't yet know if I'll have class/finals to deal with. It'll probably go something like this:

Buy game at midnight/as early as possible.
Run like a maniac to the nearest wii.
Bask in its glory until I need to be somewhere else.

As per my smash traditions - I always watch the opening sequence. And I always start by playing through single player as Mario. I'll be trying like mad to unlock everything before the weekend.

Well, when i have the game in my hands, inmediatily I will come back to home, take many bottles of coke, a bunch of snacks, I will open the box while I explain to my cousin why he needs to play it. Then we are going to watch the intro, play some vs battles and (if we dont get adicted to vs) we will play story mode until next day

Well, how's going to GS the day before (or something), giving them my license and making a mess (innuendo), and not giving up the controller until the batt'ries die.

How am I going to prepare? Get the game, and start on Subspace Emissary. Eventually, I'll unlock every character and stage before I get online.

I'm probably going to play through the Subspace Emissary because it looks as if each character is playable in it. I think I'll test out each new character too.

I probably have school that day, so at lunch, I'll leave and run to the Gamestop with one of my friends to pick up my copy. I'll most likely stare at the game any chance I get, and hopefully I will only have one class after lunch, making my wait to play shorter. Afterwards I don't know what will happen for sure. I could possibly go home and play the single player in attempt to unlock more characters, but I may also take a bunch of my friends home and we'll just smash multiplayer all day. Of course, I think the best thing would be a little single player and some multiplayer later, as I can unlock the easy characters before really getting going in multiplayer.
Also, as soon as I get snake, I'm going to do some serious training with him.

Well, on the way home from Game ill be sniffing the box and reading the back. Ill probably be taking a shower and getting all squeky clean before playing. Ill be opening the case carefully and then handling the disc with motherly care. Insert it into my Wii, getting into the most comfortable position possible, then stare through the opening movie.

This is the....fifth thread about this?

Anyways.

1. CAREFULLY remove wrapping.
2. Open case, goggle at the game disc, and then read the instruction booklet twice.
3. Put the game in and watch the intro, atleast twice.
4. Go through all possible menu screens and look at everything that's available.
5. See if there are any how to play videos.
6. Play vs mode as every character.
7. Play single player as every character.

Repeat steps 6 and 7 for 5 years.
