I will sit down on my bed looking at the game case for 5 minutes, hoping Marth is a playable character and then go to training mode with him and Link.

I have a lab final that very day it comes out. But I will smash all I can that day. The very FIRST thing I'll do is start an online random battle or play with Wario on single player.

I'll pick it up at Wal-Mart or something, wherever they have it. I'll go home, open it, put it in the Wii and watch the beginning. Then, I'll go to VS mode to whoop some CPUs. I'll pick either Meta Knight or Yoshi (Can't really decide who to choose as of now, they're both my faves so far) and set items to Cracker Launcher only. Then, I'll choose the Battlefield stage and start blowing the **** out of the Ice Climbers with the cracker launcher.

OHH this is a good thread.

I am going to come home from school and quickly open the black mailbox standing in the front yard. See a small cardboard box about 2 inches longer and wider than a DVD case, grab it, ignore all other mail, and bolt inside through the garage door, forgetting the keypad code about 3 times.

I will rush downstairs and slide the light switch-dimmers down to about 2% and turn on the projector. Slowly I will see the blue SONY screen in 109 inch glory as I piss myself opening the box and jamming it into the wii. I will rush up to retrieve my gamecube controller...I'm not planning on getting up for a while, so I get some taquitos and crystal light as well.

After jittering through the entire intro, I will instantly feel engulfed in a world of brawl as the 7.1 surround sound owns my aural sense organs and I hear the screams of whoever I see to choose first for training mode.

After testing out SHFFLing, WDing, pillaring, SHL, etc. I will take whichever character I choose worthy [if character choice is possible] and play subspace emissary until I finish it.

Then I will go to school the next day and fail about 3 quizzes.

the end.

Lock myself up in a room for 7 days. Going to be the 7 best days of my life. Not really, but I'm definitely going to be hooked for a pretty long time.

Deep in the vastness of space.
1. I'll take off the plastic rap with either my finger nail, or a knife.

2. I'll open the game box carefully and gaze at the disk for about 3 seconds.

3. I'll load the disc into my Wii and watch the intro movie.

4. I'll select training and play as Mario.

That detailed enough?

Oh yeah, and I'll give the instruction booklet a quick read before I play.

Bring it home and open it.

Read the instruction manual as I did with Melee all those years ago.

Pop it in and watch the intro.

Go into vs with 2 controllers plugged in to get a feel for the games physics/see if wavedashing is back.

Play through the Subspace.

Play with friends in real life/on WIFI BICHES!!!

I'm just gonna eat a big meal before I start, then I'm going to prepare for a few days of skipping personal hygiene.

That's it basically.

What is it with people and smelling new games? It's like a drug to us, we can't get enough of it. I hereby predict that in 10 years, New Game Smell will be teens' drug of choice. You just wait.

Besides the obvious stuff, I usually do a lot of staring, caressing and embracing before the open, at which point a shiver usually runs down my spine. It's like some sort of conscious orgasm, happens every time.

So:

-Stare
-Caress
-Embrace
-Open
-Orgasm
-Play

I usually just pick Link and jump right into one player. Learn faster that way. Training is for *******. :p

So heres what Im going to do.

1. Use a pen to break through the thin plastic seal, making sure to mark up a part of the cover.
2. Improperly handle the disc by clutching my dirt strewn thumb over the shiny part as I firmly shove it into my wii.
3. Toss the empty case somwhere in the corner of my room, making sure it hits the wall before the floor.
4. Skip through the opening sequence because that will probably be boring anyway.
5. Access the main menu and focus my ears to the slight noise it makes as you shift the selector vertically from tab to tab.
6. Probably do 5 for a solid 5-7minutes.
7. Depending on how impressed I am by the noise it makes, I may or may not choose to return the game.
8. Make everyone who just read the aforementioned steps think 'wtf?'

vgg :p
