I'm not that acquainted with anything regarding hacks to this game, so if someone could answer this for me I'd really appreciate it.

My friend already has his hacks and mods all set up (music, stages, character portraits/costumes, Homebrew channel, etc.). I want to get everything he has already set up on his. Would it work if I copy all of his files onto my empty SD card (including the acquisition of the Homebrew channel on my Wii from his card)?

Depending on your Wii's firmware you may or may not be able to use copy the Homebrew Channel itself onto your Wii via channel transferring via SD cards...

but assuming you already have the Homebrew Channel: yes, all you have to do is copy whatever he has over to your SD card.

Won't work that way, in fact when 4.0 arrived you had thousands of people who had mistakenly copied their HBC to SD card permanently without a way to actually launch it off the SD card. the result? Everyone was screwed because they had no way of installing or launching the homebrew channel.

tl;dr Copying the homebrew channel and using it from the SD card menu does not work

The only way to launch HBC directly is if your system menu's IOS has been patched with the trucha bug (which I won't go into).

if a marth wavedashes and no one is there to see it

does it make a sound

if a rarth whines and moans

and no one is there to hug it

will it be caught

if a jin ice cars

and no one is brutally injured by it

is it still a car

The ice car references are too good.

Main reason why I check out this thread.

+9 internets if you rename the toon link B+ thread "The Zaf Appreciation Thread" for a few days

Seriously.

Edit: Glyph .

Sorry to bother you in the middle of your Glyph-ness, but I just downloaded Touhou 12, version 0.002a, but I can't play it because, apparently, I'm missing a d3dx9_40.dll file, and I have no idea where to get it.

So, any help from fellow Touhou players?

I feel like I'm in Japan. A land where a bunch of people make jokes that nobody else in the world understands... -.o'

*completely disregarding the fact that he himself understands those jokes*

But still. ¦D

Japan is a possibly dumb place.

And I'm probably going to be living there for a while.

I'm looking forward to it, but I'm already regretting it. :Ve

if you're living there you can become pro at fighting games

politics in asia suck tho, corruption reeks like fish markets

if you're living in a city/developed area you'll probably enjoy it as much as any other foreign country. japan isn't really that homogeneous; although you might think it is if you suck at identifying minority asian groups (or if you think all asians are the same, which they all are cuz they're all elitist jerks which they're not and are very nice people)

also lolis

neko

lolis, cats, and JAPANESE seven-eleven

what could possibly go wrong

oh and can go watch anime and ****, watch pr0n, etc. play video games in a language of the moon

moonsong

etc.

obv :048:

u should buy some expensive sushi when you get there
