ofcoarse somethings in my head now

do you guys think his moveset is not as bad as we thought I mean I never played project m yet but its just it seems they repaired all of mewtwos moves to work better
I don't think a single moveset is inherently bad. It all has to do with the amount of frame lag, the damage data, the hitboxes, etc. Even Meta Knight would not be overpowered if he had more frame lag, for example. So, no, I don't think Mewtwo's moveset is bad (although I'm not a fan of "disable",especially since Mewtwo can't even learn that).

At one point, I thought that Mega Mewtwo X would primarily be a close combat type of character. And considering how high its attack stat is in the RPGs, Mega Mewtwo X could give Ganondorf a run for his money.

Of course, the sheer force would have to be balanced out with slower movement speed.
Amazing punmanship.

I checked Bulbapedia and it says otherwise.

Also, disable is easily my favorite special of his. :p

Unfortunately, based on Smogon's information, both Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y can't outspeed Normal Deoxys and Attack Deoxys, and if Mega Mewtwo Y truly does have a lower base defense, it can end up taking a big blow from Ninjask's X-Scissor.
Even if Mewtwo still can't match Deoxys in speed with either mega form, hopefully like the X form can at least put up more of a fight against Deoxys than when the poke-alien was introduced in gen 3 and such, assuming Xtwo doesn't have a pitiful base defense like the Y form does.

It would suck to be Ytwo then if that's the case with Ninjask's X-Scissor, but I'm an PKMN X version guy, so no big loss for me. ~

Goodness. This guy. This guy right here.
I'm thinking it, but . . . think it's possible?

On that note, it would've been amusing if Femtwo from the Genesect movie had changed into the X form instead; masculine looking Mewtwo with a female voice, but of course they had to follow the norm and traditionally give the girl voice to the smaller cutesy megaform.

We may be getting the female version of Mewtwo in Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS and it makes sense because it's only fair.

They aren't kidding when that say it's a new generation.

I guess whoever hired the voice actors didn't like the idea of having a masculine voice for Mega Mewtwo Y.
To be fair, it's not like Y needed a feminine voice.
If the whole issue was that the voice of old Mewtwo was too "deep", they could have gone a "young" voice like the child voice of Mewtwo (that's going by the dub voice; haven't heard original voice).

I'm thinking they went feminine specifically to give old Mewtwo a potential mate for the reasoning of having his species continue to exist (since I doubt Mewtwo is immortal).

So you think Mewtwo lacks the immortality/longevity that Mew has? Interesting subject, but you could be right. Something I never really thought of before...

But also, Mew is a natural being, Mewtwo was manmade. Can you bioengineer immortality?

I think it make sense, seeing as Mew has the ability to never age (hence why it resembles a fetus), but due to genetic alterations, Mewtwo lost said ability and began to grow, to the point that it slowly deteriorates.

I think Mewtwo would be of the mindset that even after a long while, it'd lose faith in the world and off itself. Like Hemingway, or Kurt Cobain.

For those curious.

This is what movie 16 Mewtwo sounds like in the dub.
For a feminine voice, it has a very strong and assertive cadence. An odd choice, but not bad.

The biggest issue is that it really is a stretch to match that voice to the body. The Japanese voice may have come as a shock, but I could see how it could be construed to match the body type. This one sounds too...young?

This is Pokemon, friend. Matters of reproduction are not entered into. Pokemon eggs simply appear mysteriously when nobody is looking, remember?

Think Solid Snake. I'm not saying that is the case, but it's not unheard of in fiction for clones to suffer rapid aging after a certain point.

imo, the VA for dubbed Shetwo did a great job. Very mature and confident, and emoted during times when she needed to. Have a lot more respect for the newer Mewtwo as a result.

I don't think Mew are immortal either.
How would they find fossils of the species to create the two Mewtwo in the first place if Mew cannot die?

I hope mewtwo gets some buffs. like mabye his teleport has less end lag. i could see some cool tricks with that. also less floaty. and that Dair is terrible. and i hope he has his voice from melee.

Yeah, could definitely get used to that english voice, given the kind of Mewtwo it is. Seems appropriate enough for the Y form too.

I just hope the X form has an awesome voice if it's ever shown in a movie/episode, and that it doesn't have the same kind of generic sound of a fighting type at the same time.

Voice for the X form depends on whether or not Dan Green reprises the role. :troll:
Well, half-trolling anyway. Since more than likely, old Mewtwo would get the X form.

Bartlett beats Dan no contest, and that's not just because he was first.

Shame he passed on.... :(
