Fun fact: March (the month), Mars, and Marth are genetically all the same name. Well, "March" was technically genitive "of Mars"Yeah, I couldn't get mine either. Really hope they restock by March. Can we start calling that month "Mewtwo March"? "March of the Mewtwos"? Somethin' like that.
Eeyup. Marth's name in the Fire Emblem OVA is "Mars" if I remember right.Fun fact: March (the month), Mars, and Marth are genetically all the same name. Well, "March" was technically genitive "of Mars"
Complete with a pile of characters that tried to get to the DLC gate and lost to Mewtwo >:3Still waiting for that Mewtwo reveal trailer. They have to reveal him in that wasteland where Greninja, Mii, and Bowser Jr were revealed at.
I've no doubt that Mewtwo will get a new trophy in the DLC. However, I don't think this one will be removed. Renamed, maybe, but they could also name Mewtwo's new trophies to signify their specialness. I'd prefer the curret trophy to be renamed, if only because it makes far more sense. Seeing as Alts. like the Koopalings got their own trophies, I would be thoroughly shocked if Mewtwo doesn't get a new trophy.Just want to note
The mewtwo trophy on the wii u version is no different in the the 3ds version
So are you guys absolutely positive the trophy will not be changed
Funner Fact(s): The reason December, November, October and September have the wrong numerical prefixes (Dec-10, Novem-9, Octo-8, Sept-7) is because, back during the days of the Roman Empire, there were only 10 months, with Winter having no designated months. Due to this, March was the first month, and the reason they called it March was because that was when they started training and recruiting new army members. When they added designated months for Winter, months and days were knocked around, and the numerically-named months lost their meaning. In addition, the reason February is the shortest month is esentially because it wound up last. That's also the reason February gets the Leap Day. Also, the reason a majority of the months have 31 days is because even numbers were considered unlucky back then. Finally, various months are named after Roman emperors (August; Augustus, July; Julius, etc.)Fun fact: March (the month), Mars, and Marth are genetically all the same name. My point was, something with Mewtwo/Marth could be done for the month of March, but I don't know what.I've no doubt that Mewtwo will get a new trophy in the DLC. Class is over. You are now dismissed.
That description makes me feel sad everytime I see it.Just want to note

That depends on whether she's even at liberty to give that information out.So I found how to contact the female voice actress for Mewtwo and I asked her whether she is returning to do Mewtwo's voice in Smash. Hopefully she will answer and settle that question.
Hm... good idea, though the only risk with that is if she is under contract with Nintendo she won't be allowed to say or give any information, I would imagine? So I found how to contact the female voice actress for Mewtwo and I asked her whether she is returning to do Mewtwo's voice in Smash. Like when the narrator couldn't answer any questions after doing the youtube requests.
This isn't really the same if you think about it. The announcer couldn't say anything because it would be revealing hidden content. We know Mewtwo is in the game, this isn't really hidden content. Thats like asking Anthony Del Rio is he would be voicing Pit when the game was announced but no voice actors were known. But then again you both could be right and she can't say a thing. That depends on whether she's even at liberty to give that information out.
Maybe not, but... Sakurai will troll us for as long he can! This isn't really the same if you think about it. The announcer couldn't say anything because it would be revealing hidden content. Doesn't hurt to try though
Yeah, doesn't hurt to try. I don't even think I need to say to let us know how it all turns out. This isn't really the same if you think about it. But then how will @ Igzex get his Miriam Pultro fix?Well, way back I recall someone posting an image here of one of Nintendo's twitter accounts calling Mewtwo "he" so that could kinda answer at least what gender of Mewtwo we'll get.
Voices are usually done well in advance. I remember the announcer for Smash 4 saying in an interview somewhere he did all the voices a long time ago, same with Anthony del Rio who voiced Pit in Smash and Uprising, he was recording in the initial stages of development.I wonder if they even picked a voice yet. They're probably just beginning the animations at this point.
As much as I would like it to be a 'he' I don't think this can be seen as concrete evidence. Mewtwo technically is an 'it' and the person who runs Nintendo's social media probably doesn't know much in regards to development.Well, way back I recall someone posting an image here of one of Nintendo's twitter accounts calling Mewtwo "he" so that could kinda answer at least what gender of Mewtwo we'll get.
I'll trade you with my Dianice BodyPillow :3you can't have my Femtwo Y anime pillow
It's alright. I wasn't try toMy point was, something with Mewtwo/Marth could be done for the month of March, but I don't know what.
...I think Characters should just have voice packs as DLC or something.
Because I really miss Melee Fox's voice ;~;
Although, tbf, Fox's Sm4sh voice is more a throwback to those who actually played Star Fox 64, as is Falco's.I HATE Fox's Smash 4 voice. "FYE-URRRR!" It kills the coolness of the character. The Brawl voice, while not as cool as the Melee one, at least kind of matched the character model.
Also, @ U-Throw , Maletwo. Seems like the easiest combination of words.
I wasn't aware Captain Falcon had any other voice than Ryo Horikawa in Smash.Captain Falcon's Melee voice
No.I'll trade you with my Dianice BodyPillow :3
Well, I just looked it up, and you're right. I'm actually pretty surprised! 64's and Melee's Falcon Punch just sounded so different. Brawl's Falcon Punch, it seemed, put a lot more emphasis on the "Falcon." It sounded like "Falcawn" to me, whereas Melee's and 64's sounded more normal. I personally prefer the Melee soundclip, but I can see where the Brawl clip gets its appeal.I wasn't aware Captain Falcon had any other voice than Ryo Horikawa in Smash.
I've yet to hear Fox's Fire Fox clip, or if I have I wasn't paying attention to it. From what you're saying, I can't decide whether or not I like it. The amount if emphasis that seems to be put on it is tearing me apart. On one hand, it'd be nice if there was a lot more emphasis on it because it seems like something Fox would do, looking at Melee and 64. I hated the Brawl clip because he basically whispered it and it wasn't enthusiastic at all, which starkly contrasted his previous clips. However, we don't need Fox using Captain Falcon-level enthusiasm. I don't really know what to think yet, other than to say that Fox's Melee voice kicked some serious tail. I absolutely loved the way he sounded and the enthusiasm that went into it.Oh lord, Fox's Melee voice was awesome.
"TOYAH!" "CAWHMUN!" "GAHHH!"

The issue is, his voice sounds incredibly nasally in Smash 4 to the point where it just seems dorky. It's that nasally sound that really kills it.Well, I just looked it up, and you're right. And, yes, I definently agree with you on Maletwo. Much better than what I suggested.

Well, I just listened to the voice clips, and here's my stance on it. I actually really, really like it as Fox's voice. Sounds a lot like his voice in Star Fox 64 and, consequently, Star Fox 64 3D, my favorite games in the Star Fox franchise. Whenever I think of Fox, the Fox in that game is the one I think of. So, naturally, I'm attracted to that voice. It just fits Fox the best in my opinion. The issue is, his voice sounds incredibly nasally in Smash 4 to the point where it just seems dorky. Well, Melee uses some updated voiceclips that 64 didn't use. It's the same actor, just different clips.Well, I just looked it up, and you're right.
