Aside from Seibrik I don't really remember there being much enthusiasm down here to go to Ryo's event. I don't think it's much of a problem if ESAM hosted an event since there probably wasn't going to be much of a SFL attendance up there.

I had an interest in going, but right now my wallet says otherwise lol, and so might everyone else's with #5 coming up.

Xaltis, be quiet. I am technically in the wrong, but I honestly don't care anymore just becaues of the Hbox thing, which I know has nothing to do with Gainesville and I'm really sorry about that Masky. However...my feelings towards being considerate to other FL tournaments literally dropped to 0. NFL/CFL can go to yours, SFL can go to mine. You can thank Hbox if you want.

Why is anyone hating on ESAM? SFL can stick to SFL and restofFL can stick to restofFL. It's not even like there's specific beef going on...this happens all the time.

I have a hate absorbing panel on my back that absorbs the hate from SFL and CFL melee. Without you guys... I'd be dead :cool:

We got in for free since we brought 5 wiis, and since we were about.... 5 minutes away from being able to not enter they ran us upstairs (4th floor) to enter right way, thus not giving us braceletes. Since we didn't have to pay, we had no motivation to go downstairs and get one. Later on, while the top 10 players were playing (All CFL, Ryo and Mero) they announced doubles and didn't give any of us a chance to sign up.... since we were still in tourney matches. THEN! We went to go sign up and they told us all teams were full.... and we had to sign up downstairs...

after they told us there was no team cap. We went downstairs they took away our friend CAPS' controller (no controllers allowed and said they'd call OPD if he didn't hand it over), and then said we needed to buy bracelets because theres no way we could get in without paying. We then stated we got in free and we have people to vouch... but no one cared. So we didn't wanna pay the 17$ con entry... They then forced us to leave before doubles and we had to be escorted out.

I never trusted Con tournies. I never hear anything good after they finish. There's always a bunch of stupid stuff that either happens with prizes, entry, or generally simple things that they find a way to screw up.

I am thinking of making a thread for little smashfests at my place, on Fridays. Not every week, but whenever a good amount of people can make it.

Does anyone think this would work out? Shall I try?

Also Everyone who is interested, I will put up a thread tomorrow.
And I will have this next Friday, because I am doing something tomorrow.

If anyone can make it please tell me, or say it on the thread I make.
It will be called "8Bit's house of Smash."
