He's said the slot is looking more townie, I still think he's likely scum from DH's actions. His push on me was warranted, as is his push on you. If you're going to call me out on strawmanning at least have the courtesy not to strawman my stances every chance you get as well.

A lot of my personal concern stems from the beginning of D2, when your slot pushed my slot on my actions alone. I had replaced into the game, and was prepared to deal with being pushed a little due to Garg's noob hesitance, but I was not expecting to be pushed for being me immediately.
At this point I had only had roughly 3-4 posts in the game. Two of which were simply asking what SK was and being annoyed at NL for snapping at me asking. These seemed like very bad reasons to be on my slot, especially considering it was apparently entirely separate from all actions the slot had taken previously (the only thing I could see being pushed for at that point and it being legitimate). This was way reachy, especially after just coming off of playing along with NL on his Kata whim, and smelled of scum opportunism.
So my questions to you would be:
Why did your slot find these three posts:
And second will you vote NL toDay?
Here's a few posts I find were good on Ran:
Here he puts pressure on Garg, asking him why he was hesitant to vote. A good and legitimate thing to ask for clarification on coming from a noob slot.
And he follows up on it, but doesn't tunnel. He takes the opportunity to ask questions he finds important of other people to gain perspective of other issues.
Still asking good questions that need to be asked and hunting for answers, but not reaching for content or conclusions like I felt he was when I suspected him in the Newbie game. After this he continues to do so from here on out, giving me a good town vibe on him even when he gets led astray on his actions later.

Problem with your indy theory is that I've been on the front lines all game and there is no doctor. Once one of my scum picks flips, I'm as good as gone.

It specifically puts Kata in a seperate catagory. Yet in your next post you push Marshy towards Kata and I, leaving out Dietz.

Yesterday J specifiically stated that only one of us could be scum. Today he is still holding that argument. Why? Because we obviously aren't scum buddies because of my push on him (kata). So if J thinks that I am indy and finds Kat scummy there is no reason he should think only one of us could be scum. Thus his positions were not made with genuine though, thus his postions are made up. It's very simple.

Wasn't I J's TOP pick yesterDay? Why would he come in now and claim one of Dietz/No Lynch has to go first over me? I know this has been stated before but one thing that caught my eye is that this is a critical situation but it looks moreso critical to you because you outright stated:

well I'm confused here because my expectation for when someone leans on multiple scum reads is that it would be in their benefit to make the best informed choice considering it's D3 now and we haven't hit scum yet... I don't understand why players have immediately made a choice as if that choice absolutely must die toDay... without consideration of other choices that looked equally as weighted to them (read back on my posts where I point this out amidst Dietz/Circus). Dietz was soft in his treatment against Circus considering at this time he would have thought Circus was "classic scum"... This is why I feel the start to this Day seems almost rushed/invasive... the honing in on players here makes me think there is something underlying that wants to build momentum on a wagon quick and I'm concerned about this. this is essentially what's running through my head atm.

He did say that yesterday and I decided to put him in front of Circus for a reason. But he has made a slight change to his thought process today. He now states that there is a possibility of both of you being scum (whether you are both mafia or 1 mafia 1 indy). And quite frankly I don't care too much about connections until we have a scum flip. When we have a scum flip then we can look at connections.
I agree with this. D3 with no scum hit means we have to choose our decisions wisely and I'm trying to do this. This is why I've been pushing a mass claim because we must choose wisely. We can all agree that JDietz is scummy, but if he can be cleared/condemned that's a lot of help because we either have a confirmed townie or confirmed scum. The same goes for everyone else. So JDietz, once again, please claim.
Also a note to everybody: if you are an investigative role don't share your results until I ask you to.

I appreciate you probably want some more reasoning as to why, but a lot has happened and we still plan to get back to you; I could come up with some suggestions but I don't think that'd help.
I'm not against a mass claim, but I also don't see the benefit. It seems just as possible that we'll mislynch someone of what people claim than we'll catch some scum. I appreciate we need more information, but a mass claim gives scum much more information as well. To say it helps us choose wisely... I don't know man.
Like, what claims are going to confirm JDietz as scum/town? Say there may be a cop, but that doesn't mean we'll know their sanity... Ugh. Are you sure this is a wise move?
