So, I accidently tried to register before making an account, then I made one and tried again, and was told that their was a duplicate. Are you sure it wouldn't have just counted the previous attempt? And is there a place where we can see who is registered.
Theres a list on the back end, i'll likely have to manually type a public one, but it will happen.

Looks like hayato fixed it after i went to bed, so i would try it again
Bouse, kyuzu, lobos, kuto, and sage are all that are on there currently.

if 175 people go to this, it will not finish in 1 day unless you have at LEAST 32 setups, and straight brackets, no pools (unless pools only allow 8 teams to advance and 16-32 singles to advance). a 2 day event would allow you to finish pools comfortably with like maybe 20 TVs, as long as everything went on schedule and matches weren't stalled. id rather it be a one day event but if this gets lots of hype and a billion people go, itll be impossible to finish in a day

We're hoping for 2 days, in the end its up to GIMR naturally, and whether its possible or not. (getting the venue that is)

175 people 2 days, would not only be incredibly easy to finish comfortably, but would allow for crews, and a short food break here and there.

Oh snap.
I'll probably get a crew to come up with me...
Maybe we'll all pitch in for a hotel room or something.
Or stay at Kojin's without asking him.

:D

For the people encouraging it to be 1 day........no way. It's not happening, especially if there are 175 people.

I know people have things to do, but events like these should be 2 days, so we have time for friendlies, MM's, and just plain hanging out. Otherwise it'll be more like a business trip than actual fun, and people will be rushing all over the place, and we'll end up w/ COT5

Wiis with a brawl disc + data are usually a bigger issue than the TVs. people are much more cautious with their wiis now with the recent thefts

Who steals a wii, seriously. :\

I'd just make an announcement before every tournament:

"Attention! No Wiis are to be removed from the television sets they are hooked up to by anyone, even their owners, for any reason without the TO present. If you catch someone moving a wii or attempting to steal it, grab them and bring them to me and I'll refund your entry. I'll give you an extra $5 if they're bleeding."

Problem solved!

Man, thefts suck. :\

F*CK!

I need to know if the paying is online when I register or offline. I don't have a paypal/credit card or any of that ****. I can easily pay when I arrive at the venue but...iono what to do.

GAY!

I would just have everyone leave their bags at the front desk, or make it mandatory to have a TO present for every wii that is removed upon leaving. (I bring my bag to every event, to carry my controller, gum, extra clothes, food, etc, and I'd still support this rule)

Labeling your Wii doesn't do anything when someone is slipping it into their bag when no one is looking.

Honestly, I might try to find a way to attach a bike lock to mine, so I can attach it to the table or something. I wish they still had that giant handle like the Gamecube.

I might actually get a cell phone for the sole purpose of gluing it to my Wii during tourney so I can call the phone and hear the ringing if it goes missing.

I think I'm gonna have a Numbering system. I'll assign a # to a Wii and that # to the person who brought the Wii. When someone tries to take a Wii someone immediately tell me,my brother, ormy father. I'll check the #, if the # isn't assigned to the name of the person taking it we'll know they're stealing it.

I'm gonna see if it can be a 1 and a 1/2 day tourney so then OOS can leave early if they want. Have it end around 4-6PM on Sunday so they can get home on time. Or they can stay and play friendlies

Also, if my father tells you to do something, DO IT. No disrespect.
