they couldn't find me a placement till next week so they told me to pisss off

how can you help people on comp's you cant even find a way around your comp's firewall to get on onto msn

Square suck seriously. They never make their minds up. Like dropping out when Brawl was being produced, saying Final Fantasy XIII is PS3 exclusive only to put it on 360, and now saying Final Fantasy XIV is exclusive to PS3 only to announce it for PC hours later, and now considering putting it on Xbox.

MAKE YOUR MINDS UP.

If they charge people to play though I won't buy it...

-srs bznz- Willz, I've been looking at trying to find/steal some recording equipment to be able to record Wii, PS2, PSX, etc games onto my PC... problem is one of my local tech stores has now closed (-_-) and the other one doesn't sell anything useful.

You can help / point me in the right direction for what to get? If there was such a thing as a decent USB-connected TV capture device.. that would be awesome. -.-' because it's a lot easier to cart my craptop around than my huge-*** gaming PC.

Well I bought my Dazzle from PC World. Dazzle is decent and has great quality. Not being able to record in PAL 60hz sucks hard though. Luckily it can record NTSC 60hz. I don't know about any other type of devices to record besides a DVDR, Video tape or Camera.

Yeniths obviously has done so. most of them stay within the EM and NW, though Willz has been to the London Expo to play me, Mako and Kira. As far as I know, trio is going to the London ranbat on the 27th.

Well these guys mainly play brawl im guessing apart from sum of them which is why they generally decide not to attend melee tournaments

Melee > Brawl. But meh lets not argue personal opinion n00bs before any argueing. Tbh EM suck at Melee compared to the other two areas (NW & London). We have two decent players (being Almas & Yeniths) and me being okay I guess. Although Almas is starting to bring the **** so we'll see.

I only recall only 2 Melee tournaments (not ranbat) in the UK so far year, and I couldn't make both of them because they were both on a peoples birthdays in my family.... and I probably can't make coeys tournament either because of being on holiday. -_-'

I admit, EM may have the smallest amount of good players in the UK, but undenialbly we're the best for Brawl, and will be for Melee... In 5 years. No JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHNZ............

Any yeniths, sure ill mm u with any of my characters, but zelda first and foremost lol, i need the practice with her to see whether i should bring her out in tournament play or not
ill take as many mms as u want, just pick from the following of the characters i use
Marth, jiggs, fox, doc, peach
this is probs ordered with how well i use the chars so take ur pick , def wanna get sum games in with u. Feel free to use whatever characters u want against me, and counterpick me like a ***** if u have to, i just love the experience of mms lol
and tell me how much u want each mm to be for aswell

EM is mainly BRAWL. No doubt about that. I'm sure most Brawl players really have no interest in Melee tournaments unless Brawl is there as well. I think it would also be a fair comment to say EM doesn't have exactly the 'richest' players in the UK thus not being able to make most ranbats & tournaments (johns =P).

I guess the majority of people prefer to play Brawl in EM.

Tamoo, I'll try and sort something out. But currently I'd rather focus on my upcoming exams & smashfest then arrange to go elsewhere in the UK. School always comes before Smash I'm afraid.

Not at all, ff4 was such an immense game for it's time. correct me if i'm wrong but its amongst, if not the 1 final fantasy with the most remakes (ps1, gba, ds) whereas i believe others from that era were only remade for ps1 and gba. Plus it has it's sequal 'The after years' (anyone know if that's on wii ware yet?)

I realise the amount of remakes doesn't testify to the greatness of the game, but i just think ff4 had something extra special about itself that lifted it above others. ff8 has the bigger storyline, also has a lot of features i love (it is close behind ff4 in my list of best ff afterall) such as limits and the junctioning system.

when i say ff4>ff8 its kinda like saying 10,000,001>10,000,000. theyre both epic and theres basicly nothing in it, just about preference

(but at least 4 doesnt have that stupid long cut scene where everyone realised theyve met before on that basketball court. that took the mick)
