Ok so you boys heard the many times I wanted to just let this game go. But others keep telling me not to and that I should keep playing. I quit this game like a week ago and people wanted me to keep playing. Had like 100+ telling me to play and rep Peach. From both Peach players and other poeple. So with all that came back, entered a tournament and did worst than before. I'll but that I said in another thread then get to the point.

"Yea I see what you mean. Thing is I know I can do so much better. Yet I don't do it. I just know so much. But of course seeing is believing. I can't unleash what I know in tournaments.

All I want is too do that. If I could just be able to do that, trust me. People will look at Peach in a whole new different way and I not see dumb post like inui's. Thats all I want, just to play the way I know I can play and not this weak **** I been playing since november. And I not care if I lose. Cause I be losing with a high placing. And thats all I care about with Peach.

Thus I'll say it again, I am not cut out for competitve playing. I crack under pressure too easy and get nervous/lose my momentum bad. What I know I cant unless in tournaments frindlies. but then again, I am playing just as bad in friendlies too. I really am just losing it now. I'm a weak player just how I was in melee."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now witht hat said, to the point of this thread. If people actually want me to keep playing and see what a Peach on point could such as go even with a snake (yes I am that serious, I'm saying this match up is even. Yea yea get out all the snake talk that I can die easy, I can't kill you, etc. I say it is even and can't wait to show you all just how it is). And her beating characters like meta and all that. Yes good metas. So I asked if I can play with people alot or high ranked players around N.Y and I guess N.J (But I have problems with some of them so Idk. I know for Meta practice in N.J, DM would be great. dude is really cool. As for snake....only one I know like that is ether.) Or I guess any states near by.

I don't really play people offline. only time I really do is in tournaments. The rest I have to deal with wifi. All that I know and stuff was due to wifi. then I go to tournaments and see how I do. I was doing fine but now just getting worst and worst with each tournament I hit. I know there be smashfestes around. I read peoples away messages on aim and all. but no one tells me anything, so I am stuck playing alone or wifi to get ready for tournaments. i'm thinking if I play more good/ranked people offline, I get off this crap and actually start hacking it with Peach. She is not doing good in tournaments and this is ticking me off. something needs to be done and I wanna do something about it.

Wes offered to help me out so I'll start playing with him. If anyone can help me with my Peach on the EC then that be sweet. Even if I have to play high ranked players on wifi that is cool. I played NinjaLinks and Neos Marth on wifi. Now I have gotten better against Marth. The Marths I would usually lose too, I don't lose to them anymore or as much if anything. I still don't have a solid straight against Marth. working on that but I got better at it. This might do the trick and get me at the level I should be playing already with all the stuff I know with my character. So I ask if anyone could help me out here and actually want me to keep playing, then do so. cause I'm getting tired of throwing away money and not putting up a fight. beating me at tournaments does not mean anything anymore or beating me in general.

That just leave me with one problem. me getting nervous and cracking under pressure. Had this problem for three years. So idk.....

I'm Not about to have a fight in this thread, not what it is for. you even dare start, I won't say a word to you and you will get reported, no warnings so keep it clean and the BS out of my thread.

I get nervous to. You just need to test and find a schedule/system that works for you during and before you go to a tournament.

I like to drink Mountain Dew before tournies. It gives me energy and makes me less nervous

Eric V, one of the best Street Fighter players on the east coast told me he doesn't sleep for 2 days straight before a tourney and it makes him play way better.

try different things like, getting no sleep/getting a lot of sleep/playing on a full stomache/playing on an empty stomache. Different things work for different people.

Though I am not a high ranked player, I wish I could help but a friendly is a must to keep both of us on track.

But if you want me to help, I'd be glad to, I don't normally play no one else but Toon Link, but I got a good Ike, Marth and Fox so if you want me to help you with Pressure and stuff like that, let me know man. I'm a very nice guy who's willing to help out anyone in any situation.

If you want, you can get me on my AIM or on my Windows Live, makes no difference to me.

confidence is the key, if you feel you are better than the person you are playing, you will play much better.

You just take things too seriously, don't worry so much about winning and how you are playing, just try to have fun and enjoy the game. You put too much pressure on yourself, losing isn't that big of a deal.

^^^ What he said ^^^

If you take the game too serious you begin to get frusterated as you play in a tourney match and just do worse.

i sleep, with no sleep i play teribly worse... so i try to get plenty of sleep and i drink a red bull....also realizing that your nervous normally helps because you can tell yourself to breath, calm down and think things through

Hey bro why would you quit? Just because you lose thats not a great reason to quit. Losing should give you the drive to get better i should know I play so i can compete with the other good players.

Also man your the guy who helped me get better you the one who said dont give up and what not so i give the same advice you gave me get playing and dont stop repping that peach

I'm gonna tell you what someone else told me:

"If you give up at Brawl because you can't win, give up gaming in general. If you come to a wall in any other game, do you quit and do something else? Or do you **** the **** out of that wall? It shouldn't be any different for Brawl."

Yo Dark read this....

You Enter a tournament.
You Lose your first round.
At this point, you're pretty much depressed or just down right angry. The fact is, you spend the money and time to go to this tournament, and you are one step away from being eliminated all together. Stress and anxiety shroud you as you anticipate your next match, and soon you can't really focus. Why did I lose my first match? I don't normally... I thought I was good... what's going on?
With all of this clouding your head, you enter your next match, and lose.
Now you start feeling horrible, like you don't even belong in the competitive scene yet, because you just lost twice, 0-2 at a tournament that won't be happening for another week or so.

These feelings are indiscriminate. It doesn't matter if you're a pro or a n00b, you're not immune to anxiety, stress, depression, etc

and if yo want some trainin, u know where to hit me up

"You've gotta have fun with this game. If you don't, you're going to hit a brick wall and probably stay at the same skill level."

I believe nothing else had to be said here but, My first Tourney Scene first round i get to play Bum i get 3 stocked the first Match, 2nd match i get him down to 1 stock still losing i didn't feel that i sucked i just thought to myself that i have to get better, then well i got eliminated by a spammy Mr.Game and Watch 2 stocked twice that means i have to train harder. I quit playing online competitively because it was not getting me anywhere i trained with my cousin to get better my shielding improved a whole lot, reduce spammy efforts to get a frustrated kill. Then it hit me that depending on one character to win you a tourney match or a friendly is wrong.

PC Chris quote has a point fun should be your motive. It happens we all choke nobody is perfect, everyone has a flaw you just have to find it within your opponent. I would love to play anyone to get better. Just hit me up on my aim ELbigpapidedr(well im Dominican).

just be constantly thinking when ur playing brawl. The minute your just mindlessly attacking or spacing stuff your gonna lose to anyone thats decent. A good example is a marth spacing fairs on a metaknight. The metaknight will just space you and just start spamming tornado to get on. Its obvious for the marth player to stop and do something else. I dunno i play a character with one of the weakest approaches i have fun actually figuring out peoples **** midgame, but yah having fun is also another factor in getting better.

and people who said dont get sleep when playing this game LOL ur all nuts.
