I want to make passionate love with this roster. As @Final Smash Gamer suggested, here is a nice-looking roster. Y'all won't like it because I made a lot of cuts and picked a lot of alternate choices as opposed to popular/predicted ones. But it's nice-looking and it's my roster, so I can do what I want.
(it's not a prediction roster)
I think it'd be fun.
It's okay. Lets hug it out.Sorry

In addition to your image not working, please make sure to actually put relevant text, generally explaining your roster.
Why cut these 3 characters? They're pretty much staples of the series and Luigi is way too important to be cut.Ok

I'm not going to comment on what I feel about this roster, but I am going to ask this.As @Final Smash Gamer suggested, here is a nice-looking roster. Ignore that.I'm not going to comment on what I feel about this roster, but I am going to ask this.
.....what the flying **** is up with Scizor's render?!
.....that's terrifying.Ignore that.
Look at Chrono's face.
For the record the Character Discussion social has an Ideal Roster thread in the vain of the last one that gets a lot of traffic.Stop making fun of the renders yew guise! How mean! It isn't easy to find a decent Crono one! It is for Scizor, but the others didn't fit the space as well. Same reason I didn't use Smashified Ridley, which is obv a better piece of art.
But hey, feel free to comment on the roster @GoldenYuiitusin. I knew what I was getting into when I posted it. I haven't for a minute treated it as an actual prediction, and therefore I suppose the caveat is that it's not a great fit for this thread (the less stringent roster thread closed down), but I think it's still a fine roster. Just not a likely one or one that prioritizes merit in the same way as Sakurai.
I don't think that invalidates a roster on the basis of still being a decent roster, just on the basis of being one that has any chance of happening. Are the likely rosters the only good ones? I don't think Sakurai's method of making a roster is especially sacred when you're not aiming to emulate it.

Isaac (ロビン Robin) is a VenusAdept, a playable character in Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age, and a main character in the overall Golden Sun series. He is the silent protagonist and party leader of the original Golden Sun, and gains a speaking role in his appearance late in The Lost Age as a co-leader of the game's extended final party. He returns as an NPC early in Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, where he has become husband to Jenna and father to Matthew. For being the most effective "main representative" of the Golden Sun series (being playable in both of the first two games), Isaac serves a cameo role in the 2008 Nintendo fighting game, Super Smash Bros. Brawl.Isaac is my favourite Zelda character!
I think it's more that you included Isaac with the Zelda characters instead of putting him with the single character series, though you've also got the Metroid and Kid Icarus characters grouped together, as well as Kirby, Star Fox, and F-Zero, so it's not a big deal.Isaac (ロビン Robin) is a VenusAdept, a playable character in Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age, and a main character in the overall Golden Sun series. Oh right.
N3ON of all people knows Isaac is from Golden Sun, dude.

Here, have a superior Isaac:Ignore that.
Look at Chrono's face.
Those are really good, but they aren't 3D models which were what N3ON was looking for. Here, have a superior Isaac:
And a Lyn:
Shantae, Shovel Knight, Banjo, Anna, Rayman, and many others on her Roster aren't 3D models either. In fact, Anna is straight up 2D art. The rest I mentioned were all hand painted to look like 3D models, but still 2D art. Those are really good, but they aren't 3D models which were what N3ON was looking for.
I stand corrected on these.Shantae, Shovel Knight, Banjo, Anna, Rayman, and many others on her Roster aren't 3D models either.
But that's actually Anna's model from Fates. In fact, Anna is straight up 2D art.
Touche.I stand corrected on these.
But that's actually Anna's model from Fates.
The genius of the Awakening and Fates cutscene models!Touche.
Looks like 2D art though.
Oops, must've missed that one. Well, fwiw, this isn't my "ideal" roster either. If it was it'd probably have my main and current fav character in Smash, heh. As well as a few other characters I gave the axe to.For the record the Character Discussion social has an Ideal Roster thread in the vain of the last one that gets a lot of traffic.
I'm just wondering why you cut your main, personally.
I made some of these a while ago, so I don't quite remember my reasoning, but I guess I thought this one worked better. I do remember trying that one though. The Pokken render didn't work?
Fair enough!I said "how I feel about it" for a reason. I'm not looking at it from a perspective on chances or anything, but rather aspects of what I like and dislike about it.
Unless you actually want me to go into detail about what I feel overall, I'd rather not since it's just a rant over personal tastes.
I dunno hun, he sounds kind of obscure, sword-wieldy, and anime. Wouldn't he be too similar to Shulk or Cloud or something?Isaac (ロビン Robin) is a VenusAdept, a playable character in Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age, and a main character in the overall Golden Sun series. What the? is on there all alone were is or .Also, roster:

It's a reboot, which is guaranteed to trigger everyone ITT, lol. Idea is, everyone gets new moves/redone to justify the cuts. Like it or not, that reboot bridge will be crossed sooner or later.

For sure. Some variation of this is what I imagine we'd probably get in Smash, should he somehow ever get included.Red hair Simon yeah? Imo, that's his best design.
No Bayonetta, no Buyonetta.
I honestly don't see Bayonetta being removed. It doesn't make sense to me that they'd have a ballot that lasts over half a year where people all over the world could vote, announce that a certain character is the winner, and then remove that character in the next game.As for cuts, as I said, I don't think there will be many, but if there are any, I could see Cloud AND Bayonetta being removed, and this leads to my last , and least probable Wild Card, the two of them potentially being replaced by Lara Croft, though IF she ever were to make it in with Cloud still in, imagine having Ryu, Cloud, Lara Croft, Sonic and Mega Man all in the same game. 90s kids would lose their minds. I know this last scenario is extremely unlikely, I know.
I mean honestly Cloud is kinda the most likely of the third parties by default, simply from Sega, Capcom, and Bandai Namco being on another level of chumminess with Nintendo.Out of all the third party characters I would say Cloud has the biggest chance of getting the axe. Mainly because of Square Enix being Square Enix and that Cloud will still have to compete with all the other third party characters to return in the game.
Oh yeah for sure. It's no forgone conclusion that Cloud is going to be the third party to get cut.I mean honestly Cloud is kinda the most likely of the third parties by default, simply from Sega, Capcom, and Bandai Namco being on another level of chumminess with Nintendo.
Though honestly since Square Enix was apparently very supportive of Cloud being in, I can also see him coming back.
To be fair, the song thing might be because DLC was made on a budget. Street Fighter only got two songs as well. Yeah, it was three versions of each, but still.Oh yeah for sure. It's no forgone conclusion that Cloud is going to be the third party to get cut.
I'm just saying that if it comes down to Sakurai wanting to cut a third party character from the game Cloud would be the front runner for that given Square Enix didn't want to fully commit given they only let Nintendo use like 2 tracks from FF7 on the Midgar stage and had no additional trophies other than Cloud.
I also recall reading a Sakurai column where he mentioned it being a "miracle" or something that Cloud was able to get in the game.
