Ahhh D1!!! YES! But oh no! Poor aMSa! With no Yoshi available who the hell is he supposed to play!? Still it brings a dumb smile on my face to see that they care about stock, no items, gamecube controllers, and the fans! They've got some competitors who have already established their presence as well as some new faces! I'm sure usual tourney attendees will bring a warm welcome to these new folks! It's all really heartwarming :D

Has anyone noticed that Geoff Keighley is also the guy that interviewed Kojima about Snake's appearance in Smash? And he's leading Sony's E3 conference? Hmmmm... coincidence? I THINK NOT.

Maybe Snake will be announced right at the end of the tournament. That would be pretty cool. Even though I didn't really like Snake, I think vet cuts are stupid. I had to go through it with Roy, Young Link, and Dr. Mario (all who I prefer over their counterparts) as well as probably Ivysaur and I hope other people don't have to go through that.

The character missing from the 20 char line-up are Luigi, Peach, Sheik, Toon Link, Lucario, Charizard, Ike, King Dedede, Yoshi & Diddy Kong. Just throwing that out there. I think there'll be a newcomer announced afterwards though.

Ifeel that a Westerner might ask him something along the lines of: "I'm not asking you whether or not Ridley is going to be a playable character, but could you at least explain why you seem to be dancing around the idea of him being a boss?" It generally seems to be a more valid question then "Is this character playable or not?", and it's something I myself have been asking for weeks now. In all likelihood, it's either him trolling or he hasn't made certain whether or not he could include him as a playable character with the time he has. Still, it'd be nice to know for sure.

I'm betting the Ridley debacle will finally be put to rest, one way or the other

I'm hoping Mewtwo will be shown off, and I'm hoping at least 3 newcomers total are shown.

If Pacman is in, he's being shown at E3. Honestly I used to hate him, but I'm neutral now. I'm betting against his inclusion though.
If Palutena is playable, she's being shown at E3. I hope she's not in, I don't think KI deserves a second rep, but I know she's got a fair shot.
Ridley could go either way, honestly. I really hope he's playable, but I won't bet on it.
Chrom has fair chances, but I don't see him being revealed right after Ike.
Chorus men aren't playable, the sal leak is stupid
Maybe some other character (isaac/Shulk/Ray01/someone) unexpected will be shown, if a big hype character or two is already announced (ie ridley + mewtwo, yadayada)

Wario(unless shown tomorrow with mk8), Ice Climbers, Meta Knight, Lucas, and Falco are gonna be vets revealed. Snake will not be shown, but he will be playable.

We'll also get more information on the Wii U version exclusive stuff, and the connectivity between it and the 3DS version

I hope that Charizard's victory poses would be inspired by Project Melee's Charizard. I really like victory poses there. My favorite is Charizard laying down on the ground and snorted with a small flame.

I know that i mean toon link, lucario, luigi could still have to be unlocked. Means like a plausable explamation for those 3 .

Just going to say, you should really keep your expectations low for E3. One newcomer reveal is hopeful, maybe a veteran or two, but remember E3 2007? No reveals at all, just a release date and a short trailer. E3 isn't going to be some "dream perfection" that reveals everything you ever wanted.

So Ice Climbers, G&W, ROB, probably all in. Lucas is basically a complete clone, and Earthbound doesn't deserve two reps especially since the series has been canceled by its creator. And Ness is a classic character, so he probably takes priority.

PK Thunder = exactly the same move except it goes through enemies instead of hitting them once
PSI Magnet = exactly the same except he holds it in front of him and it can do damage when canceled
PK Fire = exactly the same except it hits once instead of multiple times
PK Starstorm = exactly the same

There's a reason most people thought Ness was canceled when this guy was revealed, his moveset was just so similar to Ness.

Falco, Toon Link, Ganondorf, and Wolf are exact clones as well, but at least they're recent.

For advertisement purposes yes. Lucas can't do that anymore, Ness can now. Even then Ness has been shown to be of higher priority in the Brawl files. Lucas won't be of higher priority than Ness, that's for sure.

I didn't say he's impossible. But remember the cuts from Melee: Dr. Mario, Young Link, Mewtwo, Pichu, and Roy. Four of them were clones, and Mewtwo was replaced by a more recent Pokemon (Lucario). So both "cut" criterias fit Lucas, he's not only a clone but also not very recent (even compared to Ness).

Mewtwo was not replaced by Lucario, he was "replaced" by Sonic. Sonic took the development time.
