For all we know, Sakurai has probably decided that Smash doesn't need to add in any more hype-inducing newcomers and can survive just fine by its name alone. There's a very good chance that the newcomers leaked by Gematsu are the last remaining ones left if it's true.

It wouldn't even surprise me if franchises like Donkey Kong were left with the same amount of reps like they had in Brawl.

They're my two most wanted characters. That said, I doubt Ridley's in and K. Rool could really go either way in my eyes. Also, I'm not really going to have a major breakdown if one or both of them are deconfirmed; not every character can make the cut.

I think this thread has been around for longer than that hasn't it? I think we only started counting the days after the Mega 64 video came.

You need to train alot to be good with him.

Didn't he say there would be less new characters and that the roster size wasn't increasing as much as it did from Melee to Brawl?

In Brawl, Ness is 26 out of 38, not 28. That actually isn't horrible.

Then we factor in Gematsu + Rosalina...

39-3=36+1=37+12=49

That would be a 49 character roster, I believe.

Ness is my main in Brawl, and he took to be good with him. I'm so good with Ness my friends call him "broken" and "cheap".
So much so I'm pretty much banned from playing as him when playing with friends haha.

Am I the only one who prefered Lucas? With Ness, his PK thunder only hit one perrson. For edge guarding, just jump in front of his PK thunder and he's dead.

I hope Ness's new PK thunder goes through opponents.

Ness was more technical and more of a challenge to play with, which made him more fun for me. But yes, his PK Thunder OH MY GOD it needs to change to something else or atleast be like Lucas's.
