Actually, "A COMBination of 6 more fighters" might not be a reference to the number of fighters being shown in a particular game, but to Soul Calibur 6.

That's true I suppose, but the majority of those were revealed to showcase that transformations were gone, so it seems like they revealed everyone that was part of that mechanic to not leave anything in the dust (aside from Squirtle and Ivysaur.) Random veteran reveals always seemed a bit far-fetched to me at E3 unless they have something new to showcase, so I haven't been expecting many veterans.

It's not that weird to picture a long trailer that shows various fights with Wario/Metaknight/Ness etc. It doesn't have to be full-out trailers, just quick little reveals for vets.

To be clear, I didn't say it was definitely fake, I said posing it like this doesn't exactly help its credibility in my eyes.

Hold on, wasn't there a car game shown during Microsoft's segment... Forza Horizon 2 or something? That could be the one that drives us nuts, while the weird cameo could be Conker.

I suppose somebody in the know leaking through riddles wouldn't care about credibility. In fact they'd probably consider a lack of credibility a good thing.

I find it funny someone tried to pass off a "leak" from an image made by one of the users here, as if it wouldn't get disproven pretty damn quickly - though they probably were unaware of that.

I wasn't expecting as many as the initial reveal either; as a matter of fact, I did state I expecting six characters. But I honestly don't see the hype for it; it's probably just going to be super obvious veterans (I'm expecting Wario, Meta-Knight, and Ice Climbers), Mii, Pac-Man, and one of Palutena/Shulk/Chrom... and I'm not exactly hyped for the likely newcomers that's going to be revealed.

My only hope is that we get Snake/Mewtwo instead of one of the super obvious veterans and that King K. Rool isn't disconfirmed during the likely mass disconfirmation (especially if boss are present). However, I'm still on the fence on whenever or not this leak is true, We'll see when E3 comes up.

Oh wow color me surprised about the "riddle leak" maybe being true.

I will reiterate, as some have pointed already, that the leak being vague riddles can make it SEEM like it predicted stuff when it didn't actually. In the same way that we will all come to different conclusions GUESSING what each riddle might point to we can also assume the riddles fit just about any games shown, due to vagueness...

however, conker being shown fits really good with that one riddle so it's got my attention and might actually be legit so thats exciting.

if the BAMCO 6 new characters really does mean 6 characters for smash being shown i'd guess those would be Lucas Wario Ice Climbers for vets and Mii Pacman and Shulk for newcomers.

Judging from some of what's been shown so far, I'd say it's legit. The question is whether any of it has to do with Nintendo considering they're not holding a conference at the convention center. Whoever "leaked" this is clearly not affiliated with just one company, which means they're probably associated with E3 itself, and Nintendo is not actually announcing anything at the show.

I've said it before, and I'll say it once more--don't trust the riddle leak.

Why? Because it gives out way too much information. It teases stuff for a whole bunch of different companies. How on Earth does one guy know about all of that stuff? It's one thing to get inside information about, say, Microsoft's conference; it's another to find out things about Microsoft, Sony, and presumably Nintendo as well.

There's also the fact that making riddles is the perfect way to disguise the fact that you know absolutely nothing, but many of you have pointed that out.

I see too many things in that leak that can be applied to a **** ton of things. Makes it more of a generalization so that it's harder to be wrong and what have you.

I think it's fake, or just some guy wasting some time.

Yeah, after thinking it over, the riddles can be read to mean just about anything. Even if its real, its pointless. It can't be used to speculate anything.

Which Robin? Awakening Avatar? I'd absolutely adore Robin, though there's better choices from FE IMO. If it must be a main character from Awakening, Robin hands down.
