Rules: 1v1, 4 stock, 6 minute time limit, No Items, best 2/3, double elimination

we will help to get the moving as fast as possible regardless.

anyways, jared is working on something to post by the TVs (rules and other general smash info such as L-canceling.)

I thought MLG was 6 minutes for 4 stock, but if I'm wrong we'll change it to 8. Zenj, we are expecting about the same ammount of people as last time. I may cut it off at 64, since that would be a perfect tournament number, but I'm undecided on that. This time around I'll be keeping the matches flowing as soon as a TV opens up. That should make the tourney shorter. I'm hoping that it won't take more than 5-6 hours.

Thanks again to everyone who came and I hope you all liked the new rules than from our previous tournament.

Please let me know next time you have a smash fest or tournament. I'd honestly love to play. I really wanted to at this tournament, but being a store manager has some disadvantages sometimes, and I had to make sure everything was in order for the other participants first. But anyways, I'm definitely down for playing some Smash anytime, so let me know!

By the way, who won the crew battle? Durango or Albuquerque?

also, it seems a bit odd that i just got one point. not because i could have beat 3 people above me if i had played them, but because nobody received 3ed 4th or 5th ranking in points.


we should apply the whole point system to those ranking in this thread.
which means either contacting C-J and his friends and asking if they want to compete in our system or just give it to those competing within the system already.

so lets figure wether we will give 5/3/2 points to cj and whoever won 4th and 5th place; or to me, Chris, and whoever got 5th among us. i think that was Buz, but it might have been Darth or somebody else.

CJ come to our biweekly....it should be saturday....starting probably around noon or 2pm...go all night.....always lots of fun....we usually have a small tourny and then just smash it up till we pass out.

I don't mind it being at my place...bring cash ($10 covers tourny and food).

I got in contact with DR. drew and he said there wasn’t a way to give edit permission to another person.


He suggested we create a new thread.
i think its a good idea as we will be updating rankings and tourney info much more often, not to mention all the new comers we want to get interested in the scene.
But it would be a shame to lose our roots. So is suggest linking this thread in the new one for traditions sake.

i could start it, but i trust you to represent us better, i don’t have much creativity in that regard.

Yea but Ferdi + Victor = insane team. Fox & Mewtwo wins. Anyways, something should happen during spring break, I know I'll be busy though due to school but I'll try to do w/e.

i really dont see any logic in that. it would be logical to let cj & co. complete but it just doesnt make practical or algebraic sense

/shrug even though big tournys matchups are partially based off of luck, multiple biweeklys should average stuff out.

whatever policy duha decides ill be fine with, as he will be handeling the rankings from now on anyways.
at the end of the day i should focus on improving my skills within the system, instead of the system arond the skills.


btw i got a lot of work ahead of me this week so i prob wont be smash too much befor the biweekly.

Anytime you guys are holding a tournament, you've gotta make a post in the NM thread. This would be cool to actually be able to be ranked in the southwest. I like this idea!!
