Rendering your arguments invalid (DH/Kirbyo hydra)
FoS: Smar

You RVS vote on page 10, well out of RVS, and then go on to say that since nothing lead us out of RVS, we were in RVS. You then say you're against following FF, but using the term as if "Follow the clear", which is NOT what we're talking about (unless I myself has skimmed)

The only reason I'm not voting you is because I want to hear my other head's opinion on this.

@Swiss Did you really just do what I think you just did? Are you serious with that?

Don't worry - it's a town tell. Is there any reason you don't find Smar suspicious?
Part of me wants to facedesk because Smar (seemed to) want to lynch you because "Swiss is always scum", but part of me thinks he thought everyone was still in and got caught up in RVS and wanted to vote you, throwing that silly rule alongside it. Which is still suspicious, seeing as his vote occured on pg.10 (40 PPP).

"Part of me" means parts of me as a person, not parts of me as a hydra. Just saying.

Dark Yoshi and Swiss - are you guys saying you like the idea and would like for it to happen then?
Can you guys both answer this question? Never got an answer. Both of you raised several points why proxying Frozen's votes to newbies is a good idea. Dark in particular said it was 'obvious" why it was so bad for scum. So, are you actually for this or against it? Answer.

Swiss you've now asked others what they think of it, and shown that you don't like my reasoning for being against newbies voting with what Frozen wants. But dude i haven't actually seen you say whether we should do it or not. tell us your own stance on it for once. should we do it?

I'm for the "follow FF" idea, but I can also see where Peach Monster and others are coming from. My initial reaction was "This is actually pretty good, having a basically invincible player who is awesome at scumhunting, in a game where there are some newer players." But I can also see the side where it makes newbscum not accountable. But I think, in general, newbscum will slip easier than more experienced scum, even without voting. So I'm for "follow FF." As long as FF is willing to go along with it.

I'd vastly prefer the newbies concerned to answer this first. I could answer either way and justify it.

Respond to Frozenflame's statements, please:

I do not endorse anyone proxying my vote blindly. I don't want any potential anti town players to be able to ride my logic when I could be very wrong and just be able to blame me for sucking and causing mislynches. When I take stances and suggest lynches, people should treat my stances just like you would a confirmed town player who can vote himself, and I expect just as much explanation and substantiation you would normally offer.

And...

We're too sexy

Somebody that wants to should be the proxy. If that can't happen, then the most useless person.

...what? So we should let people volunteer to bandwagon/not give stances?

Don't worry - it's a town tell. Is there any reason you don't find Smar suspicious?
What's a town tell?

So I was 'twisting' your words.

What conclusion does this bring about? Scum? Why?
I consider logic a town-tell. You can follow logic to a conclusion, and a concession on either party. A town player player discussing an issue should be either trying to logically guide the person he is arguing on a topic with to a conclusion he believes to be correct, or concede when logic demonstrates him wrong.

A player who refuses to properly and logically discuss an issue, and instead attempts to maintain a perception of being correct by responding with fallacies or manipulating the others' words, is being scummy.

So Swiss, what alignment does your role say you are? :awesome:

I would openly say I am town, but that would change the game dramatically. So I won't.

I think you're town - do you think I have sufficient reason for this?

We're actually on page 6 at 40 ppp and the first three were pregame. Nice misrep, Teryble.

Yes, my initial vote was random. Since then, Swiss has done all sorts of stuff that make me want to leave my vote there - namely, what Peach Monster pointed out about the word twisting.

Does this make PM town to you? If not - why?

What precisely leads you to the belief my word twisting deserves your vote? You haven't explained that, instead brushing it aside with a 'what Peach Monster said'.

So, Swiss, your role PM says that you are town-aligned?

Looking forward to seeing Smar's responses.

That was my fault, I had meant 15 PPP, but I'm all fixed now with 40. Figured a mistake like that would be obvious, but apparently not. Page doesn't matter, anyway, since most of the other players agree RVS was practically over, yet you voted for Swiss anyway. Yes, there is some evidence against his play which aroused suspicion afterward, but not before your vote.

I'll be out for the rest of tonight, but I'll try to catch up on everything as best as I can. Looking forward to seeing how Peach Monster analyzes Swiss' "word twisting."

I'm not saying PM is town because he posted something that I agree with. However, I don't think scum would choose to go after Swiss when there are easier targets around (I know, WIFOM) and the logic in his posts has me leaning town.

I find misrepping people - especially when it's done by a competent player, which I believe Swiss is - to be a scumtell. You're trying to make something out of nothing, and I would go through and find all the places where you've done it and quote them, but PM already did it and I don't see the purpose in cluttering the thread.

And this post has been deleted like three times now. Smashboards is acting up for some reason.

Yet you do not consider the 'Swiss is always scum - lynch him' fiasco as started by others/PM to be mis-repping. Why? Clearly you are not calling PM an incompetent player, as you agree with his logic.

Why afford others immunity yet not me? Also, note how you say scum wouldn't pressure me early game as you pressure me early game. You are attempting to pseudo clear yourself through your own 'logic.

Teryble: Look at post 196. I must have missed where RVS ended.
Post #196 looks like Peach Monster's analysis of Swiss' poor responses. I don't understand how that's RVS. Unless I've completely mistaken the meaning of random voting stage. That looks like a counter and logic post from Peach Monster.

You forgot to answer the question you quoted.
You've forgotten to answer about a half dozen of my questions. If I weren't on my way out, I'd quote them all.

I give no assurance that I am town aligned. However, I am trying to make my alignment clear to you by putting as much info on the table. I wonder about your alignment though. Are you sure your role PM says town-aligned? :awesome:

I'd ask you to not be so pedantic.

Alternatively I'd ask you to realise I'm not nearly stupid enough to believe or be convinced by a fake claim, even if I were scum.

I'm assuming you meant the former. How about you keep your amazing ace up your sleeve, and play it later.

Tery - and post 196 is after my vote. Your point?

Swiss - it started as a random vote. Then you justified it.

That was your last chance to object.

I know you're not Town-aligned, because I am not Town-aligned.
