Counterpoint, we've never gone September without a Direct of some form either, so maybe this time things are just different. But have we ever had general directs in October?
Why is this such an emotional picture
Have some water, you're feeling thirsty. Why is this such an emotional picture
That’s happened a few times actuallyNot to instill hope (meaning still keep expectations in check), but there was a direct that was announced for Thursday on a Wednesday before.
Surprise! There's A New Nintendo Direct Coming, And It's Due Tomorrow
Half an hour of games!www.nintendolife.com
It was the March 2018 Direct that announced Smash Ultimate ironically enough. So there is precedent weirdly enough for Thursday live Directs being announced on a Wednesday lol.
That picture is, absolutely beautiful.
I see Shulk has made his way to Costa Del Sol.
For some older examples I do recall the direct that announced Cloud for Smash 4 was on a Thursday. That’s happened a few times actually
That one had to be delayed. Hmmm....The one where Isabelle was announced for Ultimate was also on a Thursday.
It doesn’t have to be lolWatch we do get a direct this week announced tomorrow and airing Thursday but CP11 isn't shown.
That’s honestly what I would expect at this point. Chances are they’ll mention it in the first comment on the thread of their social media, only to be ignored by fans who can’t control themselves.Watch we do get a direct this week announced tomorrow and airing Thursday but CP11 isn't shown.
I feel like you need this in your life right now:Watch we do get a direct this week announced tomorrow and airing Thursday but CP11 isn't shown.
Is the emotion turgidity? Why is this such an emotional picture
looks up wordIs the emotion turgidity?
That is a pretty cursed prediction though I suppose nothing beats the "we are getting the character on December."Watch we do get a direct this week announced tomorrow and airing Thursday but CP11 isn't shown.
It's tomorrow (Sept 23rd).There's a Japanese holiday today so I'm willing to bet a direct will not be announced.
Well, that's happening right now, soNever mind. Anyway, you all ready for whatever happens tomorrow?
Yeah I'll just pop in an-Never mind. Anyway, you all ready for whatever happens tomorrow?
Wait it's happening now!?! I still need to sleep for several hours. What if it happens while I'm in bed? AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!Well, that's happening right now, so
On the flipside though, if it's not announced in 6~ or so hours, then we're back to where we were in the first place, completely in the dark without any idea as to what's going on.
- Multiple games leak from ratings boards all over the world? Check.
- Companies like Capcom still not yet talking about their schedule for TGS and Square still doesn't have a Triangle Strategy segment when TGS is next week? Check.
- Controller filing that doesn't fit anything other than an NSO controller due to the technologies mentioned on the FCC file that should be revealed Thursday, handled exactly like the SNES controller trademark? Check.
Sounds like a Direct is on the menu and ready to go.
And what do you say about the fact that we never get character reveals in Sakurai presents unless there is no Direct within proximity? Now if there's no Direct on the horizon that's one thing, but when was the last time a full Direct shirked a Smash reveal, only to have that reveal happen within that same timeframe?Yeah, y'all failed to mention the possibility that it may just be a Nintendo Direct Mini
And I still believe they will reveal the final fighter in its own standalone Sakurai presentation like Byleth, no way they won't milk the hype of the finale by just spoiling it on a direct in which they might want to give more spotlight to other announcements.
Also if it's not this week you can kiss the chances for September direct goodbye because we ain't getting one next week for sure.
Due to unforeseen shipping delays, the Metroid Dread amiibo 2-pack is now scheduled to launch across the UK and Europe on November 5th. Metroid Dread will still launch for Nintendo Switch on October 8th as originally scheduled. We apologise for the delay.

I wonder if the usual suspect will use this to smugly claim everyone's an idiot for thinking a Direct could happen despite doing it themselved
