Everyone in the Smash fan base acts so entitled and petty. It’s so frustrating that I just want everything to END.
But I guess I’m not exactly helping matters with my own rage. Fighting fire with fire only makes things hotter. Y’all have fun with your mud slinging. I’ll just try to focus on playing the damn game.

My only thought is not to give voice to the vocal minorities online. If you see a bad hot take on Twitter, just ignore it. The more comments and retweets something gets the more it pushes things to the front. It's how you end up with things like people thinking the Smash fanbase is comprised of idiots because a random idiot said Kayuza is a shoto.

Gloating and trolling others also doesn't look good either. Not going to say the Smash fanbase wasn't bad after Byleth either, but the FE fanbase was far from pleasant as well.

We as humans are attracted to negativity. I think a lot of content creators would say they could get 100 positive comments but 1 bad comment would ruin their day.

It's why spicy takes regarding any character or franchise in smash or anything really feels like it's much larger than the positivity. We're just attracted to that stuff even though the majority are usually either positive or neutral. We just filter it out for the bad.

They were another Fire Emblem character, which a decent chunk of the fanbase is never gonna like. Not after the Corrin debacle.

But people were expecting them. When we heard Nintendo was choosing the dlc we expected nothing but shill picks. But after such heavy hitters like Joker and Banjo, people had hope that they’d end pass 1 with a bang. They didn’t.

Smash fans got salty, Fire Emblem fans shot back (though some of them were toxic as well tbh) the whole thing was a mess. And now Byleth can’t be discussed without someone starting some ****.

Wuhu Island. The spirit battles that lock it into the different locations makes me want a toggle on what travelling stages stick at in hazard off mode.
