Yeah, I'm kind of assuming their logic is "There's no need to use E3 as a medium for announcements because we have State of Plays for that, which we get full creative control over and can launch away from other major announcements to avoid having to compete for attention".

Tbf, they DID port Persona 4 Golden to PC last year I believe…

I’m feeling a P5R PC port, hoping for a definitive P3 PC port with the female route, QoL changes from Portable (I.e. can manually control allies) and The Answer, or even more of a pipe dream, them acknowledging Trauma Center

This would mean they had decided on Rabbids before possibly the Rabbid hats too. Which... actually isn't that bad. I mean, it's not a premium costume either. Or even a full costume. They're just interchangeable hats. That, and we can safely say that a costume doesn't mean they'd look too similar, and for that matter, even if it was Premium, it wouldn't stop Sakurai at least. Nintendo might be another story depending the character. A Premium costume probably costs more to license than a regular one, due to way more details, etc.

Either way, while I don't think they're likely by any means, they'd be cool, and definitely would make E3 a memorable one. The craziest option ever. It'd be my second DLC character I specifically wanted, too.

My guess from reading the leaked text is that Mario will still be the permanent lead character, so 10 characters total. It could be that the five characters mentioned by name are the only returning ones, with Rabbid Mario also getting the chop and the other half of the roster being new. It would be so completely on brand for them to include Rabbid Rosalina but not regular Rosalina! And with Bowser going from showing up at the last minute to actually taking an active role, there's clearly going to be some battles against his army instead of 100% Rabbid enemies. Even from just a couple of shots we can see that the weapons will be even more unique now. I'M ****ING PUMPED ALREADY

What is funny is that in the past, I could never watch this stuff due to work. However, my job went work-from-home ever since COVID-19 and my Tuesday work slot doesn't have a lot of meetings right now (known on wood) so I might have a chance to catch it. I usually don't like to watch it live because you get quality issues. It is often easier to watch it an hour or so later and avoid visiting anything that will give you spoilers.

Probably Warhammer III Total War. I could be pleasantly surprised with a Historical Title.

So time for some interesting discussion. Most of FP2 aside from Steve has been secondary characters in some way with Sephiroth as the main villain, Pyra/Mythra as the deuteragonists and Min Min who was not the original poster girl or mascot of ARMS.

Any secondary characters you guys want in particular? Mine would be Vergil from DMC, Zero from Mega Man X and Raiden from Metal Gear. (As you can see, I have a certain type)

For third parties, Tails would be #1

For first parties, I would be happy with Dixie Kong, Impa, Waddle Dee or Prince Fluff, etc. I want some series that haven't got a lot of love in Ultimate or are underrepresented still (DKC).

how about any character of LoL which has no set protagonist but is essentially an ensemble cast?

I guess KOS-MOS counts too, Shion’s by and large the protagonist of Xenosaga but KOS-MOS is the “poster girl” and the one featured in crossovers

and T-elos as a secondary villain

Morrigan is an oddball, cause she is supposed to be one of the normal heroes of the story anyway. Even during Darkstalkers one. The thing that happened is she overtook Demetri severely, compared to just being more of a notable other Hero like Luigi is. Demetri got sidelined severely. Could be somewhat compared to how Toad is. A notable hero too, but just lesser, but one people still care about. Introducing Jedah, another vampire, didn't help.

The OVA had Morrigan and Demetri as the core heroes, and they're part of the major villain set in the cartoon too. It seems like the idea was they were designed to be on equal grounds first, and then Morrigan overtook him severely. Albeit, the heroes were hijacked entirely by another character(he does this in the OVA, and somewhat in the cartoon too. The cartoon also had issues that it didn't have a straight hero who fights. Just a bunch of good guys on the same side. It also did many characters dirty, but Pyron became an outright wimp in it. Morrigan being based upon the more traditional demons was more annoying than doing her dirty, though tying her to a King Arthur character came out of nowhere and was just a bad excuse plot for an episode).

Anyway, the rest are much more accurate to your point. Scorpion still remains to be a main hero or villain in any normal game or adaption, same with Sub-Zero. They certainly both have played heroic and villain roles, sure. Well, there is Scorpion's Revenge, but it's kind of an awkward thing where there's multiple major characters, and it's still not a main game series. It doesn't help MK changes the main character a lot, so you have ones like Shujinko who are in the same status as Liu Kang. Main Characters.
