WELLLLLL... She’s having a bit of Renaissance lately after being absent from the series for a long time. She was the co-protagonist of Resident Evil Revelations 2 & Resident Evil 2 Remake. She’s going to be a co-star in the upcoming animated Netflix show (NOT the Wesker kids show). It also seems like she’s going to be the main character of the upcoming Resident Evil movie reboot, which will be more faithful to the games.

There’s also rumors of a Switch exclusive RE & I could see her being the main character of it.

The realist in me says that Resident Evil is off the table because the spirits were released around the time Fighter Pass 2 was finalized. But the dreamer in me wonders if all DLC content released during FP1, including spirits & Miis, were finalized in late 2018/early 2019. If that’s the case then they could’ve decided to include a RE character in FP2 despite the spirits already being a done deal. Highly unlikely, but who knows.

I don't mean to interrupt the Stage game, but I Want to ask you guys a Question/Riddle of sorts, because I wonder if any of you guys can figure it out

There was a Mechanic that was introduced into Ultimate that has not been seen in any Smash Game up until this point. This Mechanic belongs to something that is unplayable and that something is the only thing that has this mechanic

I know what it is, but I don't want to tell because I'll get accused of doing the thing again, Because I have my own conclusion about this mechanic and what it could mean for the future of Smash. Can you guys figure it out?

I just thought it was interesting that Shadow's Assist is the only thing in the series that has this Mechanic, So I made a quick theory that perhaps it could have been a testing ground for a Mechanic for a Future DLC Character, whether it be Shadow or someone else like Tracer or Sakuya.

I didn't want to post that theory because I know people will take it the wrong way, and DaybreakHorizon gave me good advice in not blowing up a Piece of evidence, so I might talk more about this when I finish the Shadow Document. Early Draft almost done and then I make edits.

I would think people would be interested in the latter, but Perhaps that might not be a good image for the game?

The one thing I have to ask is whether Sakurai and the Team would take those pictures though of the Clipping and such. I guess if they wanted to fix an issue they got to notify what the issue actually is, and taking a picture is good way to do that, But I'm not sure

I Know that they would take Pictures of the New DLC Characters though. I guess I'm just asking if the pictures of Min-Min, Steve, and Sephiroth would have been considered "useable" before they were revealed

i believe if w were to get him it would be RE4 Leon. it's the game that truly solidified the legendary status of the franchise on top of usually being considered the best RE if not one of the best Games ever.

it also helps that it was Nintendo's Resident Evil so to speak and Nintendo would probably prefer his look from a game with a big history on their systems
instead of the version of the character that has never been on a Nintendo console to my knowledge

RE4 Leon, no doubt. Also, a silly part of me always thought that Sakurai decidet not to add Terry's Garou costume in smash because it would be too similar to Leon (brown leather jacket) as he would be one of the characters in the Fighters Pass, then i always immediately remember that it couldn't work beacuse Terry's animations uses his hat, and the Garou costume doesn't have one. ¯ \ _ (ツ) _ / ¯

And yeah, Nintendo would probably prefer his RE4 look because of the GC version success (and also because he's so ****ing cool in brown leather jacket).
