@Gord: I'm getting 2nd thoughts about you btw... are you being purposely vague about smash machine? What are you leaning alignment-wise atm? and why? Also isn't Smargs meant to be v/la which is why she's being quiet? =?

I felt the difference with Swiss/T3S was that they made posts with what looked like an intent to question Machine whereas you took a more coaching/talking down approach giving me a small impression that perhaps you knew a little more/what he was all about beneath the surface. Funny that Delvro is voting Swiss for a similar reason... - I don't find that inherently scummy but it's later when you instil thoughts into others and build this heavy newbie image around smash saying "do you want him alive as Town in lylo? Think about it"... "he's an asset to scum" etc... which suddenly brings up a whole lot of doubt on the playerslot unnecessarily imo, and I don't see a positive point from it. So what if he was close to claiming?... he didn't, and your interjections felt unnecessary and a bit forced - Smarg was never greeted this way in Oddworld as a newbie - just saying that I find your interactions with Machine worth looking into atm. But your recent post has me thinking things thruuuuuuu...

Sorry about my activity drop from before.

Since its school again, I have regular classes, basketball practice, my workouts when I get home + Homework.

I am probably not going to get to post until later tonight. Idk where smarg is though

we spoke some last night about our reads, but she has not really wanted to post something (she has something bad happen to her on thanksgiving, so I think she just may be a bit out of it). I will post more when I have time/find smarg.

Before I go however, UTD you did not answer the question as I thought you might avoid it.

I am asking why you decided to be the one to put me at l-1 and let kat hammer. Its was NOT required that you be the one to do this. So if there is no command, J asked either of you to be the ones to do it. I know its a 50-50 chance, but I was just wondering if you did it because you thought you had to, or because you made your own choice.

Well it's a bit early to tell, and you did win as scum in our last RL game. So the question is...

UTD needs to die before lylo. Either he's faking the voting thing, in which case he's scum trying to weasel out of suspicion, or his vote can be grabbed by scum meaning we lose in lylo. Plus, he's scummy.

If UTD is not scum, I strongly believe Mayling to be scum, possibly with McFox. There is a lot of rolefishing going on from her, especially wrt Gheb, Kat's list, and the mechanics of UTD's voting thing, and I can't tell if it's because she wants to read him or because she wants to exploit the voting thing. Also, there are a lot of fluff-posts in her iso (the song stands out to me) and there's some discussion of what the most pro-town way to behave is, and that screams "I'm scum, but I want to look town, so I'll spout pro-town philosophy. Look at the "Don't direct the cop!" post http://www.smashboards.com/showpost.php?p=11697888&postcount=303 ... where she promptly suggests that the cop investigate her.

I do not believe Mayling and UTD to be scum together, which is another reason to lynch UTD today.

Also, something about McFox is setting off alarms, but he hasn't posted enough for me to get a read on him - and what he has posted has been sheeping Mayling. He explained why with a love story, and I get it, you're newly engaged, probably nobody on this board understands as well as I do that you want to shout it from the rooftops right now. However, it reads like trying to distract from the meat of the post - which is essentially "I agree with Mayling because she's right" and ignores the possibility that she's scum, or that she's wrong, or that we (the other players in the game, not this hydra) need more than that. Plus, it's a handy way for McFox to avoid taking a stance of his own.

So, smashboards is not working well for me at the moment - it wasn't letting me connect under either login for the last two hours or so. We'll see how much I can post.

I see exactly where you're coming from wrt a possible Mayling + McFox scumteam, especially with the cutesy little back and forth they just had. But, I don't see too much off from Mayling to make me read scum. And I get a town read from McFox. I'd think it safe to say that they're of the same alignment, whether it's town, or scum.

Yea... UTD's gotta do something. I don't recall much from him at all recently aside from the whole controlling thing, which is dumb as hell. Gotta do a reread before I give any stances on Zac. God. I hate rereading.
