It would be perfectly fine if it caught the ledge properly.

Charizard's super armor is pretty pathetic, its not in the spot you need it most (right before you sweetspot the eldge), so its easy to stagespike him because he either blocks with super armor and overshoots or leaves himself open to stagespikes.

I feel the same way. Although, I do think it'd be cool if it turned into a spinning pile driver if it connected. It would make it more useful and be truer to Wario World.

Corkscrew is awesome, does 19% of damage (if all hits connect) and can kill at the top of stages. "EEEEYYAAAHH!!"

What I learned by playing a Mario today.
Fire Warft

how can you peform it?

As you know, Mario like to fire ball all day and uses the fire ball as baits to punish Wario.
well, all you have to do is take one of his fireballs and warf away as he attempt to hit you.
of course, this might work only once as the Mario player won't do it again.

just saying.

yea, mario boards had a thread on this. fireball at close range is so unsafe on hit, all it does is interupt your opponent's move and frame trap you into getting hit if they dont panic and shield.

Alright some real talk here.

after me, Reflex and Seibrik played the japanese MKs...I feel like the match up ratio 90:10 on MK favor...
that if you face Japanese MK.
I mean, I sat there playing Otori a few time then went back to Rain and I couldn't figure it out.

-they both destroy aggro Warios by fairing at the safest way possible.
-they both tornado safety as well...
-they grab, and when you spot doge their u-air, they d-air...witch is a frame trap, but I donno.

like, whats the game plan against these two? How do we approach them? And out of all the Warios, the one that did decently was Seibrik as I wish for him to share his knowledge on how to deal with these Japanese MKs.

If MK forces any character in the game to airdodge the Uair, he frame traps them. And yeah, the MU isn't good for Wario. It's progressively gotten worse the more MK's game has been refined. You can "beat" most of what MK does, but only if you're already at a certain specific position for that option, and since you can't cover most options at the same time + have the frame and range disadvantage, it gets frustrating quick. Tornado in particular is underrated vs Wario and safer than most players realize. Dair going through is not guaranteed and requires you to be spaced/not swept sideways by the move.

MK's SH Uair is insane. Its shocking people don't use it more since its low enough to hit another standing MK. Trading is really your best bet with MK imo. You hit harder. Just charge your fart and make your reads really count.

I never thought about that--Even more damage! Smart call, my friend.

Late U-Tilt should combo into anything that grab-release normally combos into, refreshes moves a little, and deals an extra 6%. Truly superior.

Seibrik was talking about some theory about how every MK main is either great against Wario and bad against MK or great against MK and bad against Wario.

He's crazy. Still, having a good MK in the wings is the best possible secondary option. :x

so what character do you think could be a good secondary for Wario ? (I know MK is duh but other)

<rant> I dislike how commentators talk like is skillful with MK to Uair Uair Uair all over when your opponent is falling and then Nairing/UpB the airdodge/escape option with MK. Like really that stuff is BS and in the right situation there's no escape pretty much </rant>

I mean, they're winning at the character select screen.

I think Falco would make a good secondary.

I'm actually partially a snake main. I'm getting way tired of Snake innabilty of doing stuff out of the box. I been using Wario for quite time. I use Snake just for the matchups I find really annoying as Wario and Way comfortable with Snake, Like DDD, Marth and such.

Yeah, is not their fault at picking the best option in the game but is bs.

I want to drop Snake overall.

I am considering the Wario vs MK MU being -3 instead of -2... For now I stick to -2 but -3 doesn't sound wrong either...

That's because it's a generally bad move. A free 7% in positions where other moves would benefit you more, like a regular grab or a shielded aerial giving you better pressure and follow-ups.

correction

against Japan's MK -3
US MK's -2

but who knows.

The only time I see this in use is if my opponent spot doges into it...
other than that, I don't use it alot either unless when the opportunity on using it comes.

If they're spotdodging and you're trying to cover multiple options, you may as well do a D-Air. If you want something immediate, you may as well grab.

airdodge to grab works if you predict the fair of mk correctly. Im going to do more research in this MU. Also dacus can get em out their guard.
