Super duper scummy. What motivation is there ever to say this? J notes that Joey calls people disrespectful. How does noting this help town? So what if Joey finds someone disrespectful? Makes it sound like J's doing something useful when he's not.

i do agree, i am not going to try to play EM style in a game that is not EM, this game is more about reads and whatnot, not game mechanics and setups.

Sure. Worked well for me in DnD (and discworld, to a lesser extent. Those have to be my favorite performances)

I'm assuming your talking about soup.

So from the beginning, he had said that he was kirby. When approached by someone who said that kirby is in this game, he starts to go into this whole "Maybe this is just WIFOM..." type of speech. He seems to be encouraging people to WIFOM him. In addition to the fact that I don't see why a townie would do this (it could be an act to keep himself alive, but if he were a pr and not scum, scum could just kill him. I don't see any reason why he would try to stay alive as a VT), this whole WIFOMness itself is confusing and distracting. Who wants to confuse and distract the town? Scum. I call him out for this, and lay a FoS on him. He immediately stops the WIFOM. Why would he stop now, and not earlier? Panicky scum? (A townie would probably pull the plug alot quicker, instead of ride it until someone makes some representation of scum). In addition, he says that WIFOM is a strategy in EM. In addition to this not being necessary for his example (trying to play a card so people can just pass off his actions as falling under that card?), he also seems to exaggerate how much WIFOM is used in EM (Honestly its mostly just N1 of DLYV that usses excessive wifom). Why would he need to exaggerate? Maybe to fuel his EM card more? After that, he later responds to J that "He will be here for a while". Though I don't see this true as town, scum can't be nk'd (unless there's a SK) eliminating an option of him dying. When J questions that, he seems to ignore her. WHy would he do that? Realizing he slipped, and hoping everyone else will ignore it?

1. Null. He constantly spouts lots of theories which always makes me think hes just dumb town w/o a filter. He has not flipped yet on dGames, however, so I still don't know if that is his town or scum game.

No. Technically there is still one person left to confirm, so he could be waiting for others to get their word in. As was I. I feel if he kept posting, Joey would be arguing with him, and it'd be worse for town. He's doing fine. Joey was pushing with an issue that would distract town.

I am also sure that you can wait for him to answer your question when the game starts, as well. You'll have plenty of time to process the answer he gives at that time.

Yet I believe if Joey tries to distract us again, that we should ignore him because we need to focus on what is important at the time. That does include J. I don't think he should continue to ask Joey about his concerns.

The problem before was that half of the people have yet to even have a chance to look at the thread, would have to play catchup, and would be aggravated. Kirbyoshi has not been posting for three days, so while it's kind of unfair that he's going to be playing catch up, he also didn't state that he would be going V/LA and therefor is leaving us without any knowledge of where he is or how long it'll be before he can post.

I'm perfectly fine with discussion starting with after X1 Confirmed.

I don't really see what you are talking about J putting it out there to be refuted, he is just re-stating Joey's opinion, why is that useful? Good shout on pointing out that Joey doesn't seem to care anymore, however I think that's just Joey getting sick of J being patronising/condescending after #110 and #113 etc.

Please re-read your posts before you post them. You are saying that Joey distracting town during the confirmation stage is not OK, but J refusing to answer is OK? how are they different? They are both wasting town's time surely? I also don't think you really answer my question. J flat out refusing to help town by answering - is that anti-town or scummy?

His concerns are kinda dumb imo, I think if you're late confirming then just deal with it, its your fault, lol. My read on Joey is town from what he did. It wasn't pro-town but I'm fairly confident he wouldn't do that as scum, what would be the gain? He's drawing attention to himself way more than I would expect scum to. I'm kinda suspicious of the random namedrop he did in #155 but he explains it OK. Leaning town overall.

Soupa is leaning scum because a large amount of what he said is just useless and he doesn't seem to care. Weak read though

DH is town. The thought process in his #133 is just pure 100% intent to catch scum, its not amazing logic but its the exact stuff I would expect from DH and it shows he is actually trying to catch scum and he has considered all the other possibilities, as scum he'd have just tunnelled and tried to look like he was completely stupid town.

DP's read on Soup is horrid. I mean, WIFOM isn't a scum tell. It's ALWAYS a null tell. That's why it's WIFOM. It's circular and gets no where. I don't see why someone using it pre game on the first few pages would be a scum tell imo.

DP needs to learn how to scum hunt and I think your deal with him was a great idea to start helping him.
