AB/BC is technically considered a "year long" class. First 18 weeks (July-->December) is AB, and the second 18 weeks (January-->May) is BC. I'm taking the BC Exam haha, alot of colleges around here don't take the AB subscore seriously. But you do have to take AB before BC.

My first semester is AP Chemistry, AP Calc AB, Lifetime Sports I, and APES.

My second semester is AP Eng Lit, AP Calc BC, Teacher Cadet II, and Honors Adv. Applications of Biotechnology.

AP Psych was absolutely amazing. I want to double major in college for Business (Pre-Law) and Psychology.

AP Human....*shudder* It's statistically the worst AP exam score throughout the nation, and for good reason. AP exam tests you on current events, not what you learned in the actual class. -_- Plus my immature sophomore self was perplexed to death.

APES is a ****ing joke. Easiest AP Class in the world.

Yeah at my school what they did was after you finished trig, based on how well you did you would either be placed in Pre-Calc AB or recommended for Pre-Calc BC which you could accept or reject. These set you on your respective "track" for the AP course.

Then the next year after finishing Pre-Calc you would move into the AP AB or BC depending on how well you did in your pre-calc course. So technically I never took Calc AB but my BC class covered everything I needed to know for the overlap sections on the exam and then BC only section of course.

Difference just comes from the fact that my school was of the 8 class for a full year design instead of the 4 classes per semester design.

But yeah point is, I really wouldn't count them as separate classes since you're really only taking one exam, the BC. The two classes have too much overlap to really be considered separate if you're doing the full BC track.

Yeah Psych is pretty interesting, I took an intro level psych course (which is pretty much the AP curriculum) my 2nd semester at college freshman year and really liked it.

Anyways I'm only taking 4 AP courses this year: Calculus AB, Physics B, Psychology, and Statistics. I wanted to add Environmental (lol) to Statistics (lol) but the school wouldn't let me, so I had to settle for 4 instead. I'm not allowed to take AP as a Sophomore, which is unfortunate because I would've handled Biology (took it Junior year) with Statistics (lol).

Meta-Kirby, your school has an interesting GPA. If you have A's in most of them how come your GPA borders a 5?

Our school is unconventional and measures GPA differently through compounds and whatever. So my GPA is like a 3.698 out of a 4.0.
