1. I can't for the life of me figure out why BSL pointed me out in that Bacon post O_O

2. Speaking of bacon, I've never had pork bacon before. Only turkey bacon. That jerky looks really good though.

3. Make us proud Vinyl!

4. The more someone says "no homo" the more I naturally begin to suspect that they are homosexual. There was this guy the other day who kept on saying it and in my head I'm just like why does he keep saying that?

5. I started thinking about this just a minute ago when I got this text from this girl and it had a smiley face and I'm like dudes never send my smiley faces when they text...not even J. There's only one guy that I know that uses smileys when they text. But I just noticed that a lot of, actually, all of the girls I text send use a smiley almost every message, or at least punctuation. It makes the tone of their text way easier to interpret. The reason why I started thinking about #4 after that is because the same guy was telling me how gay it is to text a friend who is a guy rather than talk to him face-to-face. So I couldn't imagine what he'd think if they used a smiley a long with that.

6. I sleep way too dam much.

Zen, I was listing a cheap food, not trying to point you out. Sorry for the confusion. (In case that wasn't sarcastic)

Turkey bacon isn't bacon gtfo

Girls who send you smiley faces are subtly hinting that they want your D.

You can never sleep too much.

I use smileys all the time.

I also have used no homo x100 but the more of a bond you have the less the need to say it.

Am I the only one who's just fairly comfortable doing borderline ****?

I hug my male friends all the time, I've never once felt the need to say "no homo".

Maybe my circle is just more comfortable with it, maybe it's because we're Canadian (and thereby less prudish?), maybe it's because I'm comfortable with my sexuality, or maybe it's because it's redundant when I've had multiple girlfriends already. Idk.

I'm very comfortable with my sexuality. I won't touch your penis, though. Don't worry about that. That's gay.

I laughed pretty good at this.

Also w.r.t. being "comfortable" with other males, join theatre. Even for just one show. You will lose pretty much all those dispositions of being "..." in terms of personal space. I've seen macho dudes who would rather punch a guy than have him touch other guy to being willing to be hugged by the end of the show.

Closeness with another guy =/= gay.

a hug ain't gay long's you're backslappin like you're trying to paralyze your bro
Yeah, if you're doin' it right, it should obviously look something like this:

If any of you guys need practice, I'm right here. Wouldn't want you doin' it wrong on your friends and making things weird.

personal space is pretty big with me. but that's mostly about people I don't know. Like closetalkers. Ugh, closetalkers.

I have totally seen texts with smiley faces from dudes though. Rarely, but also from some of my manlier, straightier homies. Sometimes it's just the only way to get the tone across, ya dig

I certainly don't hold back on smileys when the mood is right.

I don't really interact with other dudes past handshake level.

Hugging isn't homo at all though imo.

Not until they try to squeeze your butt cheeks, that is.

Actually am I the only one, or is there always an ******* who tries to squeeze your butt when you're hugging.

And then is like, "HAHA I PINCHED YOUR BUTT"

I hope you're prepared to put the work in. Don't mess around paying that much for your education.

I'm considering myself lucky to live in Canada, I'm paying about $9000 a year for my tuition at Dalhousie university.

Noice. I have a bud at Dal Med, out of physics at Queen's. Say hi for me, he's the one who's tall.

I know a couple of people who come in for a bro hug with one hand. Who the **** does this guy think he is? I get both of my arms out waiting for full embrace because this guy is my bro and he one hands me because he's too cool and mainstream for a normal hug.

P.S Patting someone on the back at the end of a hug is how you do it, also don't linger, then it's gay.

Sometimes you just gotta post that smiley to let 'em know you don't mean it in another context, y'know? Don't want your doods thinkin' you're mad at 'em.

I've fallen outta touch with man-hugs though. The only straight guy I see on a regular basis nowadays is my roommate. Everyone else is a woman or gay.

Or Ryker. Ryker is the only guy I've consistently given hugs to in the past few weeks, and they're never normal man hugs. Hugs with Ryker often result in a few twirls and it's almost a dance. They are also very prolonged.

Not that I mind...

That's definitely a guy okay with his sexuality if he's twirling. Also, smileys aren't bad at all. It really depends on the context if a guy texted me something like

"Going to movies tonight!!! ^^ Really exicted!! :O"

I might question it a bit.

If he texted

"Going to the movies. I'm excited. :)"

Then I wouldn't have a problem.

I agree with your scenario, however if it were this:

"Going to the movies. I'm excited. :O"
vs
"Going to the movies. I'm excited. :)"

I'd be a little more concerned with the second one.

You can really tell a lot from someone's personality based on how they text.

"Hey bro, wanna hang out?"

^ Cool guy, smart

"sup dude what's hangin"

^ Same, probably not as smart

"OMG!!!! WHAT'S UP!!!"

^ Girl.

"OMG!!! ^^ WHAT'S UP!! :O"

^ Gay guy.

You're not truly comfortable with your sexuality until you have oiled another man up

Do you guys kiss your mom/dad on the mouth?

:phone:
Nope. Mouth kisses are for lovers.
Mostly this.

It hadn't occurred to me that I stopped doing that though. Some situations I'll give my mom a peck on the lips, but nothing more than that, that'd feel hella weird. I mostly just default to hugs with my Dad, or if a kiss, on the cheek.
