also, in the case of two stick figures 'looking' at one another, Zen's example makes no sense, because the figures have no depth; if you look at a stick figure from the side and you see something, you're admitting it's not 2D.

My level of understanding about the forth dimension is only based upon what I learned off the internet and what my dad taught me, so forgive me if I sound ignorant but I'm pretty sure the defining characteristic of the forth dimension is that it has one "new" type of depth. You can't say that "We're all out of directions," because you're only basing that on your limited third dimensional perspective.

The interesting thing about things like a forth dimensional cube is that you couldn't even IMAGINE what it really looks that we're limited to the third dimension. You can only grasp the idea of it, and you can only imagine what the third dimensional impression of a forth dimensional object (like a cube) would look like.

That's why time is considered to be the fourth dimension (At least, I'm pretty sure. Maybe it's for some crazy sci-fi wizardry **** and I'm just looking like an idiot.) Basically, for something to exist, it needs to have length, width, and height. However, it is impossible for an object to exist without time, too. As such, an object (probably) needs four things to exist: length, width, height, and time.

I made that one gif of the two dudes with muscles meeting and exchanging sunglasses and stuff. All you need is gifsoup, a link to the youtube vid, and a lot of patience

also I feel like I'd use a reaction gif of Duke going into overdrift and screaming while going back and forth between dinosaur and not dinosaur a lot. Not sure what emotion is described there.... "what you said is so stupid I want to go to another dimension and am transforming into a dinosaur" I guess

Of course we wouldn't be able to see see the 2D beings perspective based on our 3D way of observation (depth cues) as I mentioned in the post that you likely did not fully read.

Edit: Imgflip.com proved to be more useful and more efficient. Ended up using Jasc Animation Shop to caption the Gif. Took me forever to figure it out, but it was time well spent. Duke going into overdrift will be done later today. It'd take me like 5 minutes, tops.
