The orgin of the letter is what I showed you, in which case it looks like a double u. People got lazier over time so it evolved into the more common "w" we know.

yep lol.
last year i lost bout 7 pounds because week before mid term exams was all work periods and i was done so i woke up at 7, did nothing till bout 9 then hit it till about 5:30 took a break til 7:00 then hit it again till about 9:30 then spent the rest of the evening doing nothing.
