What's up?

I got Windows 7 Ultimate, or some stuff like that, and it's good and stuff, cuz' before I was on Vista and stuff, and Vista's not that good and all, so it's pretty cool but also a pain in the butt because I gotta redownload everything and stuff, and now I'm contemplating gettin' back into WoW and stuff because this TF2 community I play with apparently has a crap ton of people who play WoW and stuff, so yeah.

In case you were wondering and stuff, I play a Tauren Shaman.

So I was playing IRC mafia and there was this girl who was extremely bad and stuff and she ended every sentence with ... and it was funny and stuff because Fox got really annoyed with her so he just started trolling her for a good amount of the game, such as counting the number of times she ends her sentence with "..." and it was hilarious, I'll post a small bit here.

It was an extremely small tidbit in the game, she did baseless accusations the entire time like the one on me, tried lynching clear people as scum a couple of times, tried lynching people tonnes of times in Kingmaker when she was not King (or Queen).

If you're curious the final tally of "..."'s at the end of that game of Kingmaker was 31.

Yes, we did ask for her to not do it.

The scum just like point to people. Its dumb. I was play real life mafia and the day phase was literally 2 minutes.

I've never really met anybody from SWF in real life, and it's not exactly an option for me until I get to college (one year). So that being said, has your opinion ever changed with somebody who you thought was really cool/lame on Smashboards, but then they turned out to be really lame/cool IRL?
I'm just curious.

Yeah, alot of peole that seem like ***** on swf are pretty cool irl, or at least from my experience.

Also, I've had day phases in IRL mafia last like 45 minutes because our mod isnt paying attn/its heated or whatever

@ Riddle: IRL mafia, just like forum mafia, or any form of mafia for that matter, will have a level of quality largely dependent on who you are playing with and who is modding the game. If you are playing with a bunch of people who don't really understand the game very well, don't take it seriously, or are just really scrubby about it, then yeah it'll be ****ty and you'll have like 2 minute days that consist of nothing but just random wagons and lynches. If you play with some quality players though who actually enjoy playing mafia for what it is, and not just killing people randomly, then you can play games IRL with long day phases and lots of discussion.

@ Meta-Kirby: Come to Apex and meet up with some of us and find out for yourself! XP That pretty goes for everyone I suppose lol. **** should be interesting at the very least.

@ Clownbot: That's strange. I had no idea. I wonder what the reason for that is. =/

In any event if that thread isn't gonna get re-opened then I guess you were right in asking for critique here instead. Pretty much the next best spot I s'pose.

The Decisive Games Contact Thread.

So, I've noticed over the past few games that sometimes, it's difficult to communicate with scum partners, or actually retrieve communication information as the game proceeds on.

Would anyone be opposed to me making a thread where frequent Mafia players can add their communication information (AIM, MSN, link to profile,etc.) for ease of access? I'd definitely manage the OP very professionally, and I think it'd be a good contribution to the DGames board. It would prevent confusion in games, as the "database" of information could be stickied to the top of the board.

If I get the go ahead from a few people, I might go ahead and make it. Even if you aren't a frequent Mafia player, I'd still encourage you to register your information, because alot of people return to this board to play a few games here and there.
