I can't vouch for TV in Germany, but when I was there, it's definitely in public view. Sex shops are quite common. You can find calenders with it. One of their largest newspapers, BILD, features it most of the time. I also noticed that movies with sex themes are generally rated lower than they are here (ie. Watchmen), but those with violence are rated higher there than here.

Xonar, sex isn't overrated it's just being taken too serious. If people just made less a big deal out of it, stopped acting as if it was an adult-only thing and stopped making it depending on something as superfluous as marriage then it would be a lot easier to understand for people.

That justification for censors was fine in the late 1990's, but you're holding onto a value that literally (and by literally I mean figuratively, but man that emphasis) makes no sense.

Hell censors are such a small issue and this doesn't matter much. That I can agree with. But the thing is, it's not taken as a small matter. It is over enforced as if mods really have nothing else to do anymore. I don't care much if censors are removed, just remove dodging as being a violation, at the very minimum, within dgames.

Your argument here is:
1) It's a public board
2) Attacks will go up


1. I don't know if you realize what you're saying here. I know it's your job to read the policies and then fight for them as if you logically came to the same conclusion yourself, but entertain this side for a bit. The forum being public should have nothing to do with why censors are used. Life is public. The internet is public. Lack of censor or censor enforcement will not decrease the value of the site or decrease its traffic. Let's list some popular websites for example:

Youtube does not censor
Facebook does not censor
Reddit does not censor

Of course the list goes on and on. The point is that these prosperous websites do not censor, and they are not perceived as anything less than they are. Web traffic does not decrease. You see what I'm saying here? The fact that censor dodging is enforced as if it is pornography (something that actually does affect the value, audience, and traffic of a site) is more than exaggerated.

2. No it wont. A personal attack is a personal attack. You can attack someone without censors and you can attack someone with censors. That's what we have moderators for. Being lax on censor dodging will have no affect on that. There's a difference between cursing and flaming. Simply saying a word does not imply it's use in a hateful manner. Flaming, however, is something can be done with censors present or without censors present. But to say that either are a cause of flaming is an illogical conclusion.

The anime was awful. The last sword was a gun. The series defined itself on conflicts between swords and sword fights. And then gun. All the conflicts over the swords ended abruptly with people just getting shot. At the end of the anime the villain was an inventor who crossed the time-space barrier and his daughter who had no real objective. Plot wise: bad. Character wise: stale. Battle scenes: gun. Assessment: awful. You know those humor videos that have a martial artist against a guy with a gun, and the martial artist just gets shot and he dies in the most anti-climatic fashion way possible. Yeah that was actually this anime's idea of transitioning to the end series AND dealing with possible plot developments. And the foreshadowing to the last sword being a gun is hilarious. Camera zooms in towards a pair of guns lying on the counter in like episode 5. NO IT COULDN'T BE... WITH ALL THESE CRAZY SWORDS... GUN ??!?

Keep playing. It's the most rewarding exploration game since Super Metroid.

You also kill giant things, get cool items, and die in hilarious ways; play with friends for optimal hilarity.

So, I've been sleeping in a pretty ghetto bed for a few days. Made me wonder, what are some of the worst places you've slept?

Number one for me takes 2 10euro garden chairs, outside, in mid winter. Woke up due to cold regularly and had to do some exercises to get warm again. Bah.

Number two was at a tournament where we were sleeping in this small *** room. I forgot my pillow and couldn't bother blowing up my sleeping mat, so I was practically lying on the floor, my head resting on dirt covered pants and a wet T-shirt that I used earlier to dry myself after a shower. Slept like a rose, though.
