Zen, I watched some clips of that Gravity Falls show on the youtubes and thought they were pretty good.

It honestly seems closer to Regular Show than anything else, to me.

Related: How has Kristen Schaal not gotten a gig as the voice of every animated female character under the age of 12 by now? Her voice is perfect.

I might watch it. Speaking of Regular Show...does anyone else like it? I think it's pretty great tbh.

The writer from Flapjack works on Gravity Falls, and the Creative Director from Flapjack made the Regular Show, and the Storyboard Artist made Adventure Time.

Flapjack also wasn't that bad of a show either, It had it's moments and I remember liking the art style a lot. I think it's odd that from browsing /co/ enough, you get to critique cartoons made for children.

Regular show is like one of the only shows I actually really dislike on Cartoon Network.

Idk it just doesn't click for me and I just don't care for it whatsoever.

It's quirky, you have to turn off your brain to like it because it puts the characters into regular situations that turn into unregular situations. I think by the fifth episode it gets a bit tiring because you know what to expect, but that's why it's only 15 minutes instead of 30.

Better quiz:

If you're given a 3x3 grid where each cell contains one instance of the numbers 1-9. How do you find the smallest number of rotations needed of the 4 2x2 corner pieces such that the rows, columns and diagonals all add to the same number?

If there exists n tanks of water each filled with a different amount of water and constructed in such a way where each adjacent tank of water is connected by a valve (e.g 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, (n-1)-n, n-1), how do you find the least number of valves you need to open to make each tank contain the same amount of water.

Regular Show has its ups and downs. Mordecai and Rigby work well as a duo, but just about every other major character in the show is just annoying or boring to me. Some of the crazy adventures they get into are neat (see: scary movie night in the cemetery) and others just suck (see: that ****in' one with the astronauts and the chicken restaurant or whatever that's supposed to teach us the dangers of lying?).

It's also a little too formulaic for me. Every episode starts off with Mordecai and Rigby doin' some normal bro **** until halfway through when SUDDENLY EVERYTHING GOES NUTTY and they fix it. That basic structure seems to have inspired the framework of the whole show (down to the name), and it just isn't something that holds up over the course of a long series. The show kind of loses its central appeal after you've seen just a few episodes. Or that at least seems to be the case for me.

Flapjack was good. It sometimes got a little too twisted, kind of like Courage The Cowardly Dog, but I enjoyed it.

And everyone knows how I feel about Adventure Time.
