I like anime, but the Japanese society is ****ty as hell. Political system, justice system, social norms, everything is pretty darn terrible.

I'd love to stay a year in Japan, true. Why? To visit all the beautiful landscapes and soundscapes. I'm a big nature fan and Shinto is very interesting to me.

Don't get misconceptions about me just because I like anime, I'm not one of those landwhales who think they can go to Japan on vacation and see anime everywhere and get accepted instantly because I can speak a few words of Japanese.
Yeah, this may read aggressive, but seriously, it's dumb to be grouped with those people.

Yeah, my french is broken in all honesty. I had to run that through a translator to check it. A bit sad, given around 8 years of french lessons. Just never really clicked for me I think.

It's because you studied it in the UK. UK is **** for learning foreign languages. All the grammar and stuff that you strain to tie vocab etc to with consummate ease clicks if you spend a decent amount of time in France or just among French speakers.
