It's tobacco soaked with stuff for flavor. You vaporize the juices after they have been cooled and slightly filtered with the water.

The whole thing relaxes me. The preparation of the bowl, cleaning the hookah, poking the holes in the foil, lighting the coals, and then the in and out of the smoke. The flavor is wonderful as well, but the sheer ****in ritual of it all then the act of breathing the smoke in and out relaxes me.

You might not have been used to it, but it also may have been too hot. Moving the coals around to manage heat is important, and thanks to it being a party, that may have been ignored.

i like hookah personally but imo the best part about em is how pretty they are. they're like really intricate vases. but id never use hookah to get my nicotine fix, that's why e cigs exist (which my ***** marshy was sporting in that pic thumbs up for dat).

Oh, and is that a KM? What kind of bowl is it, and what coals?

Im a fan of the particular flavor of Starbuzz that we were using. Its called pirates cove. I definitely recommend it. Ive had other starbuzz flavors though and they aren't really anything to amazing. I typically go with Fantasia shisha, they have a lot of great flavors.

Not sure if its a KM but I kinda doubt it. Its actually my buddy's old hookah that he gave to me when he moved from NY to AZ. I never asked him specifically where it got it from lol. Just using a standard bowl on it atm but looking to upgrade to a vortex bowl real soon. We were using ****ty quick lights for this sessions but I usually use the Fantasia Air-Flow Natural coals. Get a much longer burn out of those.

What exactly is the point of a hookah? ._.

Its just a really fun and easy way to smoke socially IMO. Hookah hoses are hella easy to pass around while you're just like talking, playing cards, video games, watching TV/Movies, or basically whatever other sedentary activity you wanna mix it with lol. As were said its like a way less harmful method of smoking without any habit building via nicotine addiction, and you can get some really nice flavors.

^ this is probably what happened. Either that or the person who packed the bowl packed it too tight causing the shisha to char very quickly resulting in a very harsh pull. Poorly packed/tended hookahs tend to yield equally poor smoking experiences.

Exactly! They aren't useful for nicotine at all. They relax me, but that has nothing to do with smoke content.

And yeah, they can be really damn pretty. Mine is a bit beat up (got it used from a smoke place) but it's still nice and smokes perfectly. I'm thinking of investing in an even prettier one.

For those who care about brands, I have no clue. I THINK it's a Nahkla, but it has pretty clearly been made in the same factory as a KM. Still, it smokes very well and is very solid; it isn't a cheap knockoff like you see everywhere. Still very much a good Egyptian hookah.

On the bowl, I highly recommend a regular Egyptian clay bowl or a Phunnel bowl from Hookahjohn. Both are much, MUCH better than the ceramic basic stuff you usually see. I also greatly prefer them over Vortex bowls.

Basically anything made of clay kicks ass. It heats it up much better, even if it's just a regular Egyptian one.

For coals, go with Cocomazayas. Coconaras used to be good, but lately they've had a lot of bad batches. Plus the Mazayas are pretty much the same as old Coconaras. However, you'll have to use a stove to light it.

If you don't want to risk messing up your stove (which I doubt can happen), grab a little electric coil one from walmart for 20ish.

Damn I love hookah.

Lmao! It is on fact the latter. You can get out of dreams what you get out of movies and video games-to a greater extent. In a dream, you're fully immersed. You're not just passively watching someone else's life on the line, you get to fully experience the heart pounding rush off adrenaline for yourself.

Whenever I have a zombie dream I'm like tryin to peace the **** outta wherever I am cuz ya know, I'm just a normal ****ing person without a magically summoned gun. It's the ****ing worst because I know Im a pretty speedy mo****a IRL but in goddamn dreams my ****ing legs literally decide to like ****ing transmute into lead or some equally heavy bull****.

Getting chased by zombies you know you outrun ez pz but instead you cant cuz lol you're a dream cripple?

i have dreams like this very often and theyre really good but never about zombies. usually theres something evil out to get me OR i commited a crime against somebody and need to escape. i dont like zombies tho all they can do is stumble and mutter about brains theyre fcking boring
