This was very touching. I like how the ending ties in with the beginning. It makes one wonder how the main character in the last three panels of the comic feels about his blob mother and father in the beginning of the comic.

It's also a great story about modern day capitalism. How we must literally jump on top of each other in order to etch our way into making a living for ourselves. We realize that there is a certain income gap that we can never cross as a certain point in our lives. But the only thing we can do is to realize when we can't go any further, make a house, settle down with someone, and make sure that we give our kids the tools they need to jump on top of others. However, it's going to get harder and harder. Therefore even if we launch our kids across the gap, there's only so much we can do in order to guarantee their success and they find themselves alone and requiring to make their own decisions in order to secure their own well being.

I also like how it's a commentary on how people are now gravitating towards settling down in their early thirties rather than in their early twenties. It shows the mentality that people nowadays want to settle down after they have their life in check. The lack of being able to even go back in order to progress shows that there is nothing more to really develop and is a figurative state of mind that most young adults use for the time to settle down. Which in reality may never come simply because there is always something else to do in order to get ahead.

It's tobacco soaked with stuff for flavor. You vaporize the juices after they have been cooled and slightly filtered with the water.

The whole thing relaxes me. The preparation of the bowl, cleaning the hookah, poking the holes in the foil, lighting the coals, and then the in and out of the smoke. The flavor is wonderful as well, but the sheer ****in ritual of it all then the act of breathing the smoke in and out relaxes me.

Some, yes. But it's mostly trace amounts that you don't even notice. Some kinds of shisha (the soaked tobacco) have more than others, but if you don't smoke a ton or very often, it won't be an issue. When I smoked cigarettes and was nic-ing like a *****, hookah barely took the edge off.

(I quit cigs, no worries.)

The main issue is that you're still inhaling smoke, even if it's different in terms of composition than regular smoke. But done in moderation, it's much, MUCH better than cigarettes or other kinds of smoking. It's still certainly not healthy, but so long as you're smart about how often you do it you'll be fine.

The threads will not be the advertisement themselves, they'll be useless jargon.
