You're required to play newbie games before you can join normal ones per site rules. I don't know if they make exceptions, that's why I pointed it out earlier.

Oh, when I first joined dgames and used the wiki and stuff it was required. I guess it changed.

You have to watch out, that when you are a majority presence with people from this site in a game, that you don't just lynch off the players from the other site but actually look for scum because you want to win for it to work lol.

Ryker might have something more in-your-face in mind, I don't want to put words in his mouth.

Personally, I think we're talking Tactical Espionage Action on this one. And no cute hinting that there's something going on -- we're behind enemy lines and the Reich is going to shoot you if they find out.

And then we need to talk policy; do we even use our names from DG?
I agree with Nabe. We're not hiding this thread. If they Google for it, they will find us, but we're not outright telling them. They would have to do the research, find out that we're all joining the same games, then try hard to figure out who we are in order to discern where we came from.

Then what would they do about it, to be honest? Maybe accuse us of outside the game information, but they won't have any ammunition because we're still playing by the book. We just happen to be playing by the right book.

Hey

hey protoman

is this like forum gayyison all over again?
:3c

Point of consideration: We don't have to play our first game as a Newbie Game, but will probably stand out if we don't.

Point the second: Newbie Games will have SEs and ICs frolicking around us, trying to maintain order.
I was thinking about that, and they'll be a pain in the ***. However, if we want, I'm fairly sure we can overrun the ICs/SEs if they try and say that we're wrong about something (read: something they aren't right about because I'm still going to lynch you ****ers).

Well, I can't say you'd be accomplishing your goal if you just went and did it to newbie games.
I was allowed to sign up for a regular game during my newbie game iIrc, and it wasn't that long ago lol. I think you have to play or be a part of one newbie game before you can join a regular game.

Sign me up? xD. I planned on playing there anyways lol.

Edit: Oh I realized that we already figured out that we can just join in a regular game xD.

As far as I know newbie games are not required at all, merely recommended for first timers, which we are not. We can go right ahead in queue games. I was in a newbie game that got dropped during the crash/rollback.

Really want to see this go down, more hesitant to participate since I kantplay.

Can't breathe, but the view is equal to the taste
Ryker should pick a small team out of all the /ins for a first insertion. Then a second team should come in, in the summer when things are probably picking up. One-two punch.

And yes, we need to actually play the games. It's not a bomber run.

Nabe is my director of operations, I could never leave him behind.

Past that, I'll have to examine the credentials of the prospective operatives.

Mafiascum plays more than a little bit differently from DGames. Half of them can't use the word "WIFOM" correctly and they enjoy enforcing HORRENDOUS policies such as LAL (Lynch All Liars).

A lot of plays that DGames makes (Dayvig gambit for example or lying about your role before revealing the real one when you've confirmed that a player was using a night action) would result in a lynch or HEAVY pressure for no other reason than that it's different.
I love LAL. If we used it here, town would win more.

unless our ultimate goal is to draw players here, seems like a waste of our time.
This. Draw them in.
This isn't catching on lol

I'd be down for this. Seems I still have an account there. I tried a newbie game once, but then just quit because I couldn't keep down with their slower pace.
