Here is the story in which we all can learn a thing or two.

Back in 2005, a very large black man by the name of Dee and a tall beefy white man by the name of Lex decided to have a burger eating contest on their morning radio show. The rules were simple: first person to eat 22 burgers (that's all that 25$ would buy them) was declared the winner. If you fast forward a bit, Lex had just finished his 21st burger but Dee was having MAJOR difficulty starting his 18th burger. As Dee sat there complaining about the pain in his tummy, listeners began to call up during the contest and taunted him by calling him "whiny." Even his own friend Kim called him a "sissy." With pain in his tummy and rage in his eyes, Dee delivered a magical 30 second motivational speech that paved the way for his victory. After his speech, Dee came back to the table andmiraculously ate 4 burgers in the time it took Lex to eat his own final burger......thus declaring Dee the winner.

Wow. "Best piano player ever"?
TIL I could win "(X country)'s Got Talent" effortlessly. What he played in that video was easy as hell.
Sorry, but I hate when I see "BESt PIAnO PlaeyR EVRAARRRRR" and it's something like that.
Here. Have 5 good performances by 5 good performers that blow that crap out of the water, reel it back in, chew it up, and blow it back out of the water again.

Lol, didn't mean to strike a nerve. I quickly searched for a piano player and that was on top. The joke is the bored girl hitting the bell. The players you listed are really good though, so I'll use one of them.

I suddenly have smash 4 hype (And also my prediction that this was going to be made was correct)
The gamecube controller is awkwardly designed and Nintendo showed it learned nothing from how stupid the N64 controller felt. The classic controller is already more comfortable and GC is only better atm because its WIRED. Using a GC in place of a Classic this way is worthless because Classic and Wii U Classic (the little xbox controller) are superior. A GC plugged into a wiimote will still have wireless interference and a few frames of lag. Ask any wiimote user atm and you will know how much it sucks.

The GC controller was not awkwardly designed. It was made to fit the hand i.e. button layout and controller frame. Unless you meant in another way.
The location of the analog sticks are less ideal than Ps3 imo (although its basically the same as Xbox). The face buttons on the right side look like a child's toy. I love the colors, but having that one huge button taking up most of the space with 3 smaller buttons pushed off to the sides looks stylish, but its not good for fast gameplay. Its ironic because they had the 4 button diamond layout everyone uses now back on SNES and for some reason they changed it out for their first 3d consoles. That huge A button in the way just makes it harder to slide your finger from button to button. If you need to press B then Y/X you need to lift your thumb over A or move it around A. On Ps3 or Xbox you can go from any button to any button with a quick and precise slide. This type of problem is less noticed by smashers because we can use custom controls to solve this issue, but most games don't do that.

Imo, I think today's gamers can handle a 6 button layout, like the genesis had. The buttons just need to be smaller. There just isn't a need for it yet I suppose. Not with 4 triggers, 2 sticks (that also function as buttons), 1 directional pad, mics, motion and touch.

Unfortunately wiichuck has the same problem as GC. It makes up for it with motion controls (when well implemented), but it just doesn't have enough buttons. Its super comfy though.

You could always buy a white controller those wires are like 9 feet long.

Naturally I prefer the orientation of the analog sticks for play station as well, For smash though having your left thumb up more seems to help character control, in my opinion anyway. Also the natural feel of the 8 way orientation of the gcn's analog stick in comparison the ps3 is more precise. I don't believe the orientation of the gcn controller's buttons hinder it as it still feels natural to hold. Going from the x or y button to b is a layout hindrance but melee falco mains seem to cope ok. The shoulder buttons are also superior to most other controllers I've held, except the placement/size of that z button >:[ and lord knows Nintendo isn't giving up their z button lol.

also xbox controllers are **** for fighting games.

I completely agree with this paragraph. Tesh had some great points to though.

i was talking about the layout only. there is something kind of weird about ps3 controls for a 2d game. i like the feel of different buttons and sticks from each platform

i like how the 360 sticks are concave on the top making them easy to grip for long periods of time (you have no idea how hard it is to play gitaroo man on ps2 because my thumb would slip during long attack phases). On that note, i don't like the cstick on GC because the tip is so small (wtf is up with this), but the material is better than the ps2/3 sticks. The sticks on the nunchuck and classic are great here. If they were concave and kept the octagonal frame from the gamecube controller it would all be perfect for me.

i'm not sure how much i care about pressure sensitive triggers, I like the digital triggers on the wii and wii u just fine

Okay, so we can all agree that the n64s analog stick is the best, right?

Imo the GC controller has just been just fine for smash, even for Soul Calibur II.
