D3 chain grab

is there anyway out of this?
one of my friends just started using him and he already knows the chain grab

so is there a way out of this?
or do i have to hope that he messes up?

Well, you can try spamming jump and air dodge just in case he does mess up. You can also try spamming B to get a grenade out too. If he can get it perfectly, there is no way of getting out of it. You just have to wait until you're over an edge or an obstacle to be released from the grab.

You can stop him from approcahing with grenades , and stuff , but once he has you , h has you.

If he gets you over 300% with it , I think he HAS to let go before it's considered cheating..

you shouldnt be playing on any flatland or walled stages so he has to let go at an edge

i don't know if it's only for falco's CG but snake can get out of some CGs early by mashing b and having you both blow up...

Okay listen I main snake and I also have to put up with this since my crew member aka fogo mains DDD i have to deal with him too. Being ICE best snake in dallas is something u have to maintain and well my way around this Chain Grab stuff is easy. With great timing comes great power all u have to do is pull a grenade just at the right time meanwhile if done correctly as soon as he down throws the nade will expolde and cut him off and an extra note if ur in forth slot he will recieve the knockback theres a small chance u wont be effected by the expolsion only take damage

Aside from hoping he messes up, spamming "B" to attempt to pull a 'nade is the best you can do.

all i know is vs D3 you got keep moving and plant C4 and nade bounce all over the place. one more thing if you run in to tilt him. if you run in to hit him or what ever just shield drop a nade and run in, just for if he does CG you got a way out

Its inescapable if they do it right

but you should still do your best to try and mash your way out of it, you never know when its gonna work cuz they slip up the timing.
