So Nintendo's statement that online subscriptions have slowed really agrees with the reduced rate of GSP that is easily observable. It seems like there are finally <10,000 new players per day. I'll probably cobble together a graph or something.

We're right around the 2 month mark now. OVER 75% of the game's playerbase came within the first month. Makes sense because of the holidays, but that means that GSP threshold is increasingly stable, shifting by less than 1 win per day (GSP swing per game around the threshold is like 2-3x the daily increase in GSP needed)

When you're 60,000 away from the top, you probably should be getting more than 100~300 points per match. Should be in the range of ~1000.

HOWEVER, there's probably a delay issue. You really have to think about how old the info is. Are you sure you're 60k from the top? GSP goes up every day as more players join. You really need a same-time comparison to see how far from the max you are.

You are right, I am not sure and now have 3,850,000 with Inkling, I estimate that YP now prob has 3.9 mil by this point in time. The points that I get from matches depends on the player as well, with higher rated opponents given me approximately 1k, and worse dropping me 1-2k each. I wish there was some way to know how far you are from the top, but I guess this is a thread about rough estimates lol.

I saw an Incineroar edging 4 million recently, very high 3.9 million. Current highest one I've seen. I couldn't get a picture or anything, though.

Here's the twist though: his rules were 1 stock, 3 minutes, stamina mode, pokeballs and smash balls turned on, all stages. We got Venom, he camped the lower part and waited for Pokeballs. I lost after he got Abra. I got teleported underneath the stage and died. Sorry, I did not rematch.
