Wondering if Kamui has any unique victory quotes in Smash.
Similar to how both have unique dialogue towards and how she has unique dialogue towards
Both Kamuis could have unique dialogue for some of the FE characters. Even have them different based on their gender.

Maybe to Robin he/she will say "looks like i'm the stronger one" (because both are avatars) to Lucina/Marth could be "even with your blade you can't beat me"(because the dragon-slayer efect of falchions) I don't think if Kamui would have interaction with ike but if he/she have would be relacted to Ike being the user of blue flames and Kamui being a water dragon

I just realized...the Orange Corrin palette has blue accents...
YOU KNOW WHAT THAT REMINDS ME OF IF DRAGON COLORS MIRROR PALETTE COLORS?

Everytime I counter imma yell: "CORNMON DIGIVOLVES TOOOO!!"

I... I never realized this until now! Now I have to use the orange palette costume for Corrin!

Digimon was my jam back in the late 1990s-to-2000s, and Agumon has always been my #1 pipedream newcomer for Smash! If I can't have Agumon in Smash (yet), then I'll definitely settle for this Geogreymon palette!

My Castle allows you to change hair styles at any point in the game.

As for the context of pre and post chapter 7.
Lyra starts the game with long hair. After she picks a side to fight for (in this case, Hoshido), Lyra cuts her hair short.

Hello! I wanted to share some juicy info I stumbled upon when browsing Game Faqs, regarding the the ballot winners.

Basically, the user named Kyoskue, claimed that he is a marketing specialist whose team was hired by Nintendo during the campaign of Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U. The account he is using is not his but from a friend who lend it to him to protect his identity in case he was violating his NDA agreement. He is pretty much sharing some info about how the ballot characters came to be and that Corrin was basically added as advertisement for Fates; he claims he knows this due to having access to text documents during the marketing campaign and throughout his relationship with Nintendo. I recommend you to take a read to those links, and if you want more you can browse the thread he was posting in for additional info.

Of course, due to the nature of this claims there is no real way to prove he is the real deal, but what he says makes a lot of sense and it's better than the rants of "the ballot is a lie because my character didn't make it in" posts, and if it is true, then Corrin's addition wasn't added due to Sakurai bias but because Nintendo pushed for it. So this one isn't on Sakurai, again if true, and people oughta cut him some slack (They won't regardless, because hatedoms are like that).

I find this to be interesting. I bet Sakurai was fine with allowing Corrin in anyway since he is highly unique. But this does explain why Corrin got in now rather than a few years, and it does explain why we got Lucas and Roy and not Wolf.

I think the most interesting detail was Cloud. I guess he wasn't pre-Ballot and did indeed won a part of the ballot. I also find the shield stun increase to occur because of Cloud to be interesting.

My Corrins

Are these the actual customizations for Kamui? (Never really saw the possible options for Kamui/Corrin ) I only like 3 of the possible hair options for Femui (Default, 8, 10) though the hair color options are going to be more fun to play around with

Quite fitting since that's the theme of Birthright actually, to leave the past you had with Nohr and reclaim the one you lost with Hoshido hence the term "Birthright". Naturally that still comes with consequences though.

I was hanging out in SerenesForest's forums back when the game came out to see people's impressions on everything, so I made my "Corrin" back when they the customizer was still new. I'm going to start with a male "Corrin", but I also made a gender-bend version in that I might use just to make later playthroughs feel more different and to see the differences in certain support conversations.

You mean to tell me that 1.1.1's shieldstun increase was implemented to fix some bugs with Cross Slash? That really piques my curiosity. If some such bugs did exist, how would increasing shieldstun fix them anyway?

The skill trees that everyone has (like Honesty, Spirit, Flexibility, etc etc.) Is it safe to switch between those? Do perks that come from those remain with the character even if you've jumped into a different tree? Or do some do and some don't? Any advice? Thank you!

It's funny because when she uses Starlight Kick, she falls over, and the other characters act like she's been stunned/toppled and criticize her. Listen to what they say (especially Dunban)- it's so great.

Also, Xenoblade Chronicles X's Galactic Knight also has Starlight Kick! Its animation is different and it's inferior to some moves, but it's wonderful for nostalgic purposes- especially when using Fiora's voice to say it!

Interesting. However, a few people pretended to be from Nintendo and stated things like: "Oh, Wolf and Tails will be in Sm4sh, I am being super cereal." It makes sense, but I simply cannot believe that user is working for Nintendo. As even I could make a post like that.

Sakurai, or any creative game designer for that matter, has a simple mentality when it comes to roster placement on a game that has to represent already existing characters.

He sees potential to create a completely fresh character with Corrin. The Dragon transformation is new and he capitalized on it. Sure, maybe Nintendo pushed for a campaign to advertise Fates using Corrin. But Sakurai and his team saw what they could create and that's how Corrin in Sm4sh came to be. Like Robin, Corrin isn't just a regular FE character. They both bring a different taste in comparison to the other 4 FE representatives.

We need no evidence for Sakurai or Nintendo's decision making on this. It is as clear as the day that Corrin is doing what Roy did in Melee; advertise their own yet released game.

Serena in the Pokemon anime does the same thing after she loses her first competition and almost gives up. She vows to become stronger and cuts her hair, completely changing her look.

Well there were a few people on reddit who imported and enjoyed it without even knowing any Japanese, so if you just want the gameplay, I think it'd be fine. I personally wouldn't do it because I can wait, but eh.
