About Ryoma's speed...

You can be the fastest man in the world but RNG will always find a way to screw you over in most unlikely of situations. ALWAYS.
I swear, this game is starting to become Binding Blade.

Oops, on my earlier post--Veteran's Intuition is just crit evade, so it's a junk skill (except for maybe Arthur). And I actually didn't know Swordmasters got their class benefits back--hurrah! (Swordmasters didn't have class benefits to crit/evade in Awakening.) But the speed boosts from the Lodestar skills ought to benefit Ryoma because they play to his strengths, as he otherwise tends to be a little squishy.

Fair and balanced game play everybody! I mean, just look at her Magic stat. And then look at her skill in the upper-right skill slot. And then her skill in the middle left skill slot. And then her skills in the 2 bottom skill slots.
Lol, what's with the Shadowgift junk in the middle right skill slot? That needs to be Replicate. It's only fair.

Yeah, most weapon specialist classes get class benefits. Swordsmaster, Berserker, Spear Master, Sorcerer, Sniper, Master Ninja and Witch all get their own class benefits. Even Wolfseggner and Nine-tails do.

I think Ballistician is the only weapon specialist that doesn't, but they've got their own gimmick.

If your refering to the screenshots, what you do is open Miiverse while playing the game, and then either make a post or save it in your album. Then, you copy the image's link adress and then you post it in the "insert image" thing here.

ahhhhh miiverse. I've never screwed around with that, so I never would've figured that out on my own. Thanks bro

You know, even though the Nohrian enemy portraits are pretty much the coolest generic enemy art i've ever seen, do you ever wonder how they can even move, attack, or freaking see in those helmets?
Completely justifies the low hit chance but with that last picture I showed you guys from tumblr...

Damn it, why isn't this real? Intelligent Systems needs to decide the future and add Shulk compatibility to Fates.

So I have spendthrift on Mozu, and it's kicked in a couple of times. Special animation and loss of gold bar and all... but the damage didnt go up? Its supposed to go up +10, but it stayed at 29 like before. Any ideas on a reason for this? Does it not work if she is paired up or something?

I've had that same problem too, but not on Spendthrift, but on Rend Heaven. There are times where say, Velouria would activate Rend Heaven, but she'll do the same damage as she would've done without it. I tried looking it up as to why this happens on both skills but i couldn't find an answer. Maybe its a glitch.

In Rend Heaven's case, it's because it uses the enemy's Str or Mag depending on if your attack is physical or magical, respectively. However, physical-only units usually have 0 Mag and magic-only units usually have 0 Str, probably specifically to keep Rend Heaven from being free damage all the time.

Dang, Arrei beat me by like 10 min. I feel your pain with Rend Heaven. My Avi was a Basara for a bit to pick up RH and Quxotic and I was kinda disappointed by RH. But now I have Astra, Luna, and Dragon Fang instead. Less likely to activate, but less of a chance to flake against non physical attackers

I think the battle forecast includes the effects of spendthrift.

Kind of weird considering that the forecast doesn't warn you about Vantage or Counter though.

OHHHH that makes a lot of sense now that I think about it. Its just so misleading with the Activation animation that happens before the attack sequence. But ya I see what you mean. It doesn't have an activation rate, nor is it a separate command, so I guess it would be like Life & Death, where it's just static, always active... but only when you have gold to consume

So, has anyone else encountered any glitches in the game? For some reason, my last Xander, as a Lodestar, had an odd glitch. Whenever he gets a critical, he does the little combat animation that makes the *sching!* noise twice in a row before he does his attack. Too bad he doesn't do twice the damage.

Also, on Velouria's paralogue, I had a glitch where my team just stayed mute the rest of the chapter (the dragon veins mute everyone for one turn, except it lasted the rest of the battle for my side, without wearing off after the turn ended like it did for the enemies). That one was not a fun glitch. I didn't have that problem in my first Conquest run, and I'm not sure what triggered it. Good thing I didn't need magic for that chapter (seeing as you need to mute the field to break through the mountains, I didn't bring a whole lot of magic users anyway).

In that Revelations chapter with all the fire walls, and pair of enemy Beserkers walked right through an active fire wall and attacked characters who should of been safe. Thankfully, no one died because the AI is stupid. The first one attacked Ryoma, despite only having around a 7% chance to hit...but it would of killed him if it did hit, I supposed. The second one attacked Azama, who thankfully had enough defense and speed to tank one hit. He wouldn't of made it if both the Beserkers attacked him though.

On a different note, I am so salty about Conquest Chapter 25 Lunatic/Classic. All the master ninjas and automatons have a skill that allows stat drops to stack with one another, even if they usually wouldn't. A lot of them also have seal defense. After an assault from two ninjas, Effie found herself with -20 defense in just one turn! As if that wasn't bad enough, you've also got a bunch of automatons with Lunge and Spy Yumis. They'll chain lunge together to move a character like, halfway across the map and lower their defense with Seal Defense with each hit. I tried to use Kaze to dodge tank with Kagero's Dart, but a Swordsmaster with a Dual Katana got him. I don't know how IS expected people to do this without breaking the game in some way, but I guess it's up to Elise and the Entrap staff yet again to deal with those annoying automatons.

Not to me, but on another site I frequent, this guy had this happen to him while playing the Before Awakening DLC.

I've had this happen too, in my case, Ryoma. Although it sometimes happened when he was a Swordmaster too. I don't really know what causes it. Its funny though.

We have new Fire Emblem Cipher cards. The following image contains new cards from Binding Blade and Radiant Dawn. We've already seen 2 of them: Roy and Micaiah. But now we have Lilina and Soren and they look amazing.

I don't now how useful the characters I'm about to talk about are in Revelation since I still haven't started that route, but in my playthrough of Birthright, Hayato and Sakura as an Onmyoji were really good.

The former had good speed growths and a good Magic stat necessary to easily take out foes most of the time (I made him an Onmyoji, and between him and Orochi, who was his wife in my run, Hayato was more useful most of the time). The primary issue I remember for him was that he is level 1 when he joins you, so you have to do some grinding so that he catches up with everyone else in your army.

The latter will have a pretty high Magic stat by the time she reaches level 20 for a Shrine Maiden, so it makes sense to upgrade her into an Onmyoji, not to mention tomes can be used one or two spaces away, unlike bows.
