So I figure there's a lot going on on the internet, in general.

The thing is, I always end up falling into the same ruts over and over. Smashboards, youtube, and facebook can only stay entertaining for so long.

What are some cool sites to check out? I'm thinking interesting blogs, cool things to look at, different kinds of youtube videos, what movies/TV shows people are watching, etc....

What does everyone else spend their free time looking at online? I figure this can turn into a pretty legit idea if everybody keeps contributing.

I'll start with something Oscar showed me awhile ago:
http://www.thisamericanlife.org/

Basically it's a podcast which examines different aspects of people's lives in America. There was one on bullying, one about life on a naval cruiser, and a lot more.

reddit.

i've probably spent more time on reddit over the last 2 years than i have doing any other single activity. most of you guys have probably heard of reddit/already visit regularly, but for those who don't it's definitely one of the best "waste a lot of time reading about cool shiit" websites out there.

EDIT: oh I guess I should probably put a link.

Damnit, Reaper. I was totally gonna link to Cracked.
It's so amazing. It's also pretty damn funny.

This site I found has a **** ton of anime, I've passed alot of time just watching random shows I've never heard of before.

Pat already mentioned Reddit, but digg is another similar site, although not as great.

As for web comics, xkcd is very entertaining.

I did it to mock the post above mine, tallman.
Take the time to read every post in the thread next time, I guess.

Also, another thing I re-discovered in my bookmarks folder: The Art of Manliness

In a time in my life where I'm contemplating the role of discipline, passion, and integrity, and the scope of things that I can accomplish, this site is pretty relevant. There are articles about health, knowing "manly" things (like fishing, tying knots, hunting, speaking or dressing well), and upholding personal values. What is the essence of a man?

Anyways, I figure I'm not the only one who would find this interesting, or the only one who it's relevant to. :)

Someone's out of the loop.

Also, to be relevant to the topic, I like to kill time at Gametrailers.com. I usually just browse the Screw Attack section though.

the game aint in me no more
I was about to say youarenotsosmart.com but then I realized I got that link from Fly and he probably already posted it. It's good when you want to actually learn something instead of just ****ing around.

Other than that, I watch a lot of TV shows/movies, try to find new music somehow. I read theavclub.com (it's part of The Onion but it's 'serious' entertainment news in a sort of snarky tone) and slashfilm.com (movie news).

I'll think of more later I'm sure

"Telescope Gun Cop has a gun that can elongate out and shoot people directly in the face even if they are across the room. His gun also has a flash light"

LOL.

Looking forward to looking at that later.

I'm disappointed he was allowed to enter P5. I can guarantee you he's not entering G2 until he pays Brendan back.
