Especially when the characters said different things from the subtitles. When one of the girls was getting ***** she yelled, "No!" in english, but the subtitles for the japanese version read, "Yes!". To be honest, I'm not quite sure. I guess I went into the screening just to see how many people would show, and if they were seriously going to show hentai uncut. I didn't like the idea of it one bit, but the audience made it worth while. I would not have stayed if the crowd wasn't as energetic as it was.

if you guys didn't know yet, you know how you can't immediately ledge hop like in melee (down+jump)?

tether recoveries can ledge hop as soon as they touch the ledge (retaining more invincibility frames in the process), and while recoveries (I'm looking at you, ivysaur) take forever to go from tether to ledge, sheik's retracts almost instantly.

instant tether + instant ledgehop = awesome

too bad she sucks

Diddy and Sonic lol. I have an extremely hard time playing ddds. Unreal that he can CG both my mains. Diddy is pretty good as a character though. I'd say he's somewhere between mid and high tier. And Sonic is just terrible. I love using him, but he sucks.

Yeah, he's really bad. He has ZERO priority, no kill moves, and can be killed at less than normal percents. All he has to KO are his f smash (they still have to be at like 120% + for this to kill) and his b air (which is only good when they are near or off the edge). His d smash is decent too, but they have to be at high percents for it to kill.

What I do with Sonic is run around, looking for an opening to attack (I can't just run up to them because he has NO priority), try to get a hit in and then chain together some more hits. Sonic is so fast that, if you read your opponents DI and dodging correctly, you can get several hits off of one. The bad news is that he's very easy to deal with if you become predictable. That's the downfall of most Sonics. If they know what you're doing, you're screwed.

All the top and high tier characters just **** Sonic. ****ing DDD can CG him and kill him at medium percents and Sonic can't do **** about it cause you can't kill that fat **** until he's around 180-200%. Don't even get me started on MK, his up b just destroys Sonic at low percents. I actually enjoy playing Snake with Sonic, although it's also a hard matchup. The mines and tilts really kill Sonic fast. You have to dodge things like CRAZY to beat a snake.

as far as I know, yeah. It especially applies with Zero Suit, in my experience. If I recall her tether retract is the second fastest in the game so it was easy to abuse. Sheik's has to be like 1 or 2 frames though, it's ****ing NINJA QUICK

but, again, too bad sheik sucks lol

her upsmash is good, sweetspotting it will always land the second hit and it'll do 29% damage.

standing needles are okay

I don't really like her otherwise

edit: oh, this time around it's actually helpful to push your opponent away to switch to zelda to give yourself killing moves (lolool, m2k). IIRC, switching between zelda and sheik also resets your stale moves counter so if you only land one attack as zelda and switch back, sheik's move will still be fresh.

Why does Sheik suck? I almost never use her and never see anyone else use her so I have almost no knowledge of that character.
