Is anyone going to be playing TvC in a few days? Oh & hi.

I am thinking of renting out a space where my bands hosts / plays show and renovating it to hold v game tourneys and other ****, so if all goes well I should be able to start hosting again in a month or so. Shweet.

Don't take it too seriously, it's just a game. In tournaments it can be frustrating sometimes, but I've just learned to laugh at myself when I get too mad. I'm sure that if you try your best you could become a great player :-).

it plays alot like marvel, but slower. from what I know the corner is where its at. Ive seen ryu do 70%-85% combos in the corner using the meter to baroque and ****. it gets rly ghey in that respect from what I've seen. karas has an infinite but its useless/hard to exeucte/diminishing returns **** extended non baroqued combos.


rockman is a super camper.

Hah! JWong didn't beat me. I have the advantage by never having to play him.

And I have it because the models from it are able to be ported into Brawl, so we're looking at a whole lot of sexy hacks in the future.

I don't recall if I told people here, but at Pound 4 I had a high-stakes match against The Doug that's been almost a year i the making.

He has a really good DK in Melee and he's just a smart and exerienced player.

I have a mediocre Marth and I used to be hella serious about Brawl.

So his challenge was:

"If I beat your Marth with DK in a best-of-5...you are never allowed to play Brawl again. Not even in a friendly."

I agreed pretty immediately...especially considering the conditions I demanded:
"If I win, you are never allowed to chain-grab my Ness or Pikachu ever again. Tournament/Crews/Friendlies/etc...never again."

I lost 3-1.

i rly dun think so. when the japanese bootlegs got here last year there wasnt much hype. just invitationals and private side tourneys happened during evo. n maybe with the /US release there will be a change(perhaps the new chars in the US version may help that) but like the game is hella broken. Its kinda like marvel minus the humongous learning curve. And with its similarities with marvel and gg( to a small extent) I feel like the game reached its peak and was already forgotten about a bit(until US release was announced).


I wouldnt invest into it in all honesty. marvel itself is a better investment and its almost dead
