Only thing is Pokemon DLC which I don't think they'd interrupt planned Smash news for. Unless they want to summon maximum Salt and make Urshifu the next DLC fighter lol.

I would recommend just acting like Isle of Armor doesn't exist. Nintendo usually reveals a lot of updates for games around E3 anyways, so it's not like overlapping announcements is an issue. We were probably getting Smash news and AC news at the same time if the Direct was never cancelled.

There's no guarantee we're getting an announcement, but if we were, SwSh likely wouldn't interfere.

Tomorrow we might get a date for the presentation at best, a shadow drop out of nowhere is not very likely for Smash in my opinion. Just a date for whatever day in the month, Pokémon shouldn't be a problem for just a tweet.

It's different, but not really heavy on the lore. You're better off just playing the Grand Prix as Dr. Coyle or unlocking gallery art for that.

Beating level 7 grand prix to me is probably one of the most fulfilling achievements Arms has to offer. I've sometimes even re-done it for fun with motion controls just to give myself a decent workout.

Though admittedly it became less fun after Coyle came out since I just enjoy one version of Hedlock (and its music) over the other. Still good times though.

im guessing saving and quitting counts as a "loss"? you gotta have no losses up to a certain round

I don't play any higher than level 2, so I don't know.

I think it's no losses until the semi finals, and you only have that one chance to beat him, lose and you have to redo it (save and quit counts as losing to him as well)

Does anyone else find Byte & Barq the most annoying normal GP match on difficulty 4 and higher? They usually end up taking the longest for me.

I did save and quit any time I was close to losing before the semi finals and Springtron still didn’t show up. I made sure of no losses with that method, maybe the game sees I’m trying to cheese it? Idk

For me Spring Man is by far the one that gives me the most issue for whatever reason. I think mainly in his stage I have a harder time spacing him away and once he hits low health and is constantly charged he gets way more obnoxious and in my face.

The ones that cause me more trouble are Mechanica and Master Mummy (and from there probably Springman) in GP 4+

Shadowdrops usually happen about 11 hours or so from now but actual announcements usually happen about now

We cannot rely on patterns from the last year to determine when/where the Smash reveals will be announced. This year has been chaotic and we've not had consistency for almost a year now.
