I did calc it with the CB but yeah that's right.

Basically it means that latias will be taken care of as long as we don't switch in on a trick and lose our +1 boost.

I already mentioned Heatran before we even came up with what type of Yanmega we were going to use <_<.

I said HeaTrap to get rid of Blissey.

CB Latias is Uber

And then people said unreliable as a Blissey counter.

I think it's time we had another vote on our next ream member. So far we have it between:

Heatran
Snorlax
Suicune

I agree with Heatran as well.

Fire absorb + Force out Rotoms > Pursuit, Ghost Immune or BEING WATER TYPE

I might not remember correctly, but didn't Breloom make it in as a status absorber/ ttar counter?

Lead: Starmie
Wall Breaker: Nidoking (Life Orb Mixed)
Status Absorber: Breloom (CuteLoom)
Main Sweeper: Yanmega (Life Orb Speed Boost)
Secondary Sweeper: Heatran

Out last team member should be something that covers any last threats, but to do that, we need to decide on Starmie and Heatran.
Will Starmie be Trick Scarf? Or bulky, so it can come back later?
What will Heatran be running? HeaTrap, for Blissey? Scarf, as a revenge killer? Specs, as a wall rapier? Substitute to ease prediction?

Also, we have no entry hazards.

trickscarf is ew. It doesn't really need to be that bulky either, since an attempt at a bulky starmie will fall woefully short of expectations.

I suggested an expert belt subtran, but heatrap would probably fit this team best.

and again I bring up swmpert for rocks, bulk, and resistances. P:

I agree with Expert Belt SubTran, mostly just because HeaTrap just sounds...bad.

Swampert would be good too.

I say shuca heatran with SR.

Guarantees it gets up + lures out a bunch of **** to get random kills.

for the sixth member I think we need something that just *****, even if the whole team-idea falls apart. Something like DDMence

A failsafe? I think DDMence works. DD Gyara or Gengar could fit.

if we want a pretty foolproof cleanup pokemon, how about Agiligross with Meteor Mash/Thunderpunch/Earthquake?

I was suggesting Mence purely because it has a faster base speed, meaning it could sweep with just outrage/roost until the opponent dies. Dragon Dance = instant win

Gyarados is more for mid-game wall breaking, which if you aren't too careful results in a sweep. Problem is most good players ARE prepared for gyara, greatly reducing its effectiveness.

Metagross is my favorite, by far.

Yanmega always outspeeds it after a boost(unless we go slow, which is what mine is).

I've been testing this team with Mence and by far the biggest weakness is Latias. Scarfed or Specs is a huge pain, as is LO. I tried to put SD Scizor in there but I had a problem with HP Fire versions. Sure, Yanmega can take it, but good luck switching in.

Edit: how about Specs Latias? If that doesn't lure out Blissey on teams, I don't know what does.

If we tried starmie/yanmega/heatran/nidoking/CBlax/Agiligross I think we'd get better results than with cuteloom and with a ddmence cleaner.

I don't understand why everyone is so set on cuteloom
I say just going completely offensive with him is our best bet.

i always use this breloom moveset:

Spore
Stone Edge
Seed Bomb
Focus Punch

Stone Edge is there for gyara switch ins and all you need really is spore to be annoying

Defensive Breloom can allegedly take ScarfTar's attacks better.

Yeah but you need defensive breloom to take BandTar's attacks.

a little bit of HP does just fine for taking tyranitar.

And since all Breloom carry some HP EV investment... I guess standard Breloom?

I was thinking Mach Punch to help with Focus-sash pokemon that come back in after we force it out.

Ex: Aerodactyl switches out, in comes scarftar.
Starmie uses Surf(doesn't KO)/Hydro Pump(misses).

starmie dies(pretending we predict wrong).

In comes breloom, Spore first(scouting switch-in).
Seed Bomb, in comes Aero. Survives SE/ Seed Bomb, and then dies to the mach punch.

so we have this now

Starmie
Yanmega
Nidoking
Breloom
Heatran

Breloom and Heatran make a great duo together, hitting at opposite sides of the spectrum and covering each others weaknesses quite well, and they also pretty much **** each others counters

as a 6th member, what should we look for?
revenge killer?
anti-metagame?
dragon type?
annoyer?
wall?

me, i say we go for a wall, we have nothing truly defensive on this team, while it's definitely not a frail team, it's defense is actually quite lacking

any suggestions? i'm feeling gyarados would do a pretty good job here
