you guys are right in that fox's true full potential can never be accomplished by a human. however, given what people CAN accomplish with him, he's STILL the best character. yes. fox is that good.

Why do you guys think so little of yourselves? We are capable of much more than you know.

Alright so it sounds like there are 4 or 5 of you guys coming. Bring 2 setups if you can, & try to bring power strips/extension cords. There aren't an amazing amount of outlets at the venue but we can make it work if we have enough power strips. Also try to be nice to any noobs that might show up from the school. They're my future crewmates =)
What would you say are my most glaring weaknesses that need to be corrected to reach a higher level of play?

Also which character suits my play style the best?
i'd have to play you again to say. idk i can point out your bad habits for you and tell you to fix them and you can fix them but then other bad habits will form that can be taken advantage of. you have to learn to spot your own habits and become quick at changing them. improving this game is about habit/pattern recognition, mixups, reads, and situations. when something doesn't work in a situation, stop doing it, and do more of what does work. execution helps you punish and in the neutral state.

Bert, could you possibly bring that 32-bit laptop to the tournament? This time, I won't forget my capture card. Also, if you have some splitters, bring those too, because we'll need them if none of the TV's have AV: OUT ports.

Awesome. We'll get some matches recorded then. Singles, for once (it seems like there is so much more doubles videos then singles).

Haha, how funny. I can't find my external hard drive. I assume I left it at my friends, and I wont' be there until next weekend. It could also be in my car, but that's in the shop and I won't get it back until later today.

But hey, it's at least better then the videos being corrupted :)

The coolest crew in the midwest is the KC Crew.

THERE IS NO COMPETITION, WE'RE ALL CHILL AND ****.
Also, we're the undisputed masters of bro-ing out.

Yeah but I think he means coolest SMASH crew. And since you guys don't really play smash, that rules you out.

Yeah I don't have dudes over until 5am every Saturday playing smash in my basement or anything.
I would consider you and Jace to be smash players still. Maybe dmac. But aside from Jace, you guys don't really seem to care to play and get better or go to tournies that aren't local. Which is fine. But because of that and the other games going on, you guys are like a crew that meets up and plays games. But a smash crew? Nah.

Dart I'm gonna come to CoMO that weekend just because you'll be there.

Plus it's my birthday that weekend :D

And Massive, Ziv is right. You guys don't travel as much anymore, what happened?? KC used to dominate brackets and ****. I miss those days. I mean Columbia is a straight shot down i-70. They always be smashing.

We've had some scheduling issues with the tournaments that came up. If we didn't get stuck with the least (personally) workable weekend of August to go to MIST you probably wouldn't feel this way.

As far as I know there's also no SMYM this fall to get us hyped about (and consequently go to other tourneys to go to for warm ups). Sad times.

You have like, 4 downstairs.
This was shortly (2 or 3 months) before I bought my house, and it belonged to my little brother.
It was a pretty nice TV (had 480p inputs on it even) and some dudes just walked out with it and left my cube sitting there. I told Jace to "keep an eye my TV while we go to lunch" and it disappeared shortly thereafter.

I didn't even notice right away because they put a kind-of similar looking TV in it's place. Nobody knew anything about it when we were tearing down...

I can't think of many other times I have been that mad.

IF I HAD CAUGHT THEM I WOULD HAVE TORN THEIR JAWS FROM THEIR SKULLS.
