Well, we shall see. I would like to go but I don't know my schedule for classes at the present moment. Once I get all this sorted out, I can give you a definite response.

Why does Jared think he'll "get used" to Falco quicker playing at home rather than in tourney?
I'm not avoiding any tournaments for any reason. I had said I wanted to play falco for at least a month before I wanted to go to any major tourneys... but tbh if I could go I'd still probably end up going. I mean I was sick and only played falco for two weeks but there was no way I was going to skip MIST.
For me, the pressure I have to face at tournaments makes me better every single time. I can do things at tournaments that I couldn't do the day before. I feel like most of my progress comes from going to tournaments, and not so much from practicing on the side. Plus, there's criticism and support that only comes from playing in tournaments and playing people outside of your regular group, because if someone's used to playing you they might not even pick up on your shortcomings or things that you're good at. And you're right, it'll only get better from here.
I usually do better against people outside of my normal play group... MIST was the first time that didn't happen for me, lol. I'm used to getting absolutely obliterated day in and day out playing Sinister in his comfort zone (my couch).
It's funny, because I hate playing against Samus since I feel like I have no control (as Pikachu, of course), but I like playing against Falco because it feels kind of like swinging around meat near a wolf. I definitely need practice against spacies, so we'll have to get in a bunch of friendlies next time we meet.

Spaceballs is a really good player, which allows him to get away with a lot of things that don't necessarily work. He's pretty creative on the fly, and I enjoy watching his Samus... it is just in the back of my mind I'll always think "ok that's not actually real... or wow they really fell for that one..." etc. But Spaceballs was my inspiration for Samus... so <3 him too.To an extent. We'll fix that, just play with us. I'm Sinister's personal trainer, and within the year I've been playing with him, he's gone from ultra scrub to contender...... :D ......... I believe in him, there'll be one tourney where he just unleashes the beast.
