Today's tournament was a ton of fun. Good **** Socks, Fierce, TKD and Phoenix. (Phoenix the crews MVP took 5 stocks to even things up at the end) :D

This is actually my 19th tournament im hosting, since June =). Of course, im not the only one organizing this event (or any of them for that matter), I have help from all over my community!

This tournament is special because its the combined effort of all of our Chula Vista/San Diego weeklies that we have hosted and ended up creating a entirely different community from scratch for the San Diego/Chula Vista (even Tijuana, Mexico!) area from that of the Melee era. In other words, its our closely knit community that makes us different from everyone else. Barrio Havokz makes us special <3

Why did you name your tournament the way you did?

The city from where the event(s) is being hosted and it's the 20th of our weekly tournaments.

What else will there be to do, besides smash? I mean like food, or other games, or maybe the venue itself is interesting.

The venue La Bellas, has some of the original tasting pizza in our area (not that generic Pizza Hut or Little Cesar's stuff here sorrry guys.)! It's located in Downtown Chula Vista and it's been open for 53 years! There's plenty of shops to look around in the area plus there's another gaming area across the street from our area with Xbox 360's a few arcade games.
