I got to play Mario Kart 3DS with a friend of mine today. The controls took a bit of getting used to since the last time I played MK with him was the DS version (used the D-Pad) and he put it on 150cc first time around.
Needless to say I kicked his butt did badly.

Also, I absolutely hate Monster X on 3HP runs.

Oh yeah, Cave Story. I got it on Steam, not very far in it yet, though. I haven't had time to play anything with finals/work taking up my time.

I dunno, I like the Monster X battle. The Sword tears him up. I tend to struggle more against the Core.

Is it weird that I've paid real money for a freeware 3 times now? DSiWare, 3DS, and Steam.

It probably would if somehow every final exam in the US got canceled.

But either way, who here plays Skyrim? I haven't yet but I hear it's pretty much a masterpiece. This is assuming the rest of the people who aren't taking exams aren't currently on Skyrim... lol

I'm looking forward to playing Skyrim ... in like a year. It's single player so the community doesn't really matter, so I'll wait for the GOTY edition bundled with all the DLC, and the price should come down by then too. Oh and since it's a Bethesda game, I gotta wait for all the user mods that fix all the broken **** and make the game playable.

And yeah, I've heard the PS3 version causes lots of freezing.

The game is only playable on the PC atm because there's so many glitches that you need console commands to fix.
