tbh i got used to the old layout, i have difficulty dealing with a new one after that XD

also, why does it seem that most of the people in this thread actually hate brawl? XD

and while im thinking about it, jcaeser, does r.o.b still get a giant blindspot underneath him in project M?

Yeah he does G-P. Every character should have strengths and weaknesses, and that's one of ROB's weaknesses. He is better at dealing with that weakness with his new horizontal boosters, but even that comes with a price (if they do manage to knock you off stage before you get to the ground, you may be screwed because you don't get your boosts back).

for me? too much effort no payoff. in the end i just end up more pissed/frustrated compared all the other fighters i play.
strange, its an absolute opposite for me...then again its probably because brawl is the first...'fighter' (do we even call it that, freeform fighter i spose) i ever enjoyed (otyher than tekken 3 as a lad, but that doenst count) and so i suppose its a bit of a curse, because now i cant get used to the extreme speed normal fighters

that, and i dont like how tiny amount of knowledge can do serious ****.
like yesterday i was playing with my friend on mvc3, i dont own the game, infact i can only use two characters (zero and deadpool) but by just knowing roughly what each button does, mashing A to get them in the air and honestly just pressing any button leads to some horse**** major half-health removing combo...cmon guys XD

i do see the appeal though, dont flame me bro ^.^

also, damn you jcaes for not ridding my biggest hate in this game XD

You may feel differently once you actually get to try ROB:M (probably won't be for several months though unfortunately).

Also aren't you an Ike fan? Ike:M is beast, especially now that we fixed landing detection.

Yeah, Lada's from my state.

He's actually really good, and I'd be suprised if he couldn't beat Sol or Mr. Eric tbh.

He's #3 on our PR, only behind X and Yaz (an MK who has beaten Tyrant in MK dittos). He has beaten both X and Yaz many times before though and always seems to make upsets every other tournament on one of those two.

Lada is beast.

You guys are discussing about the layout, and I can own all of you guys with R.O.B.
I can name 3 people here off the top of my head that can almost certainly beat you if they all actually cared about Brawl. XD

But it is true, we'll never know unless it happens. Next big tourney anyone?

fate/stay night and g-senjou no maou are both "h-games" that have incredible stories that everyone should read imho

orly?

The one I played was Yumi Miru Kasuri (or something like that)

I almost cried at the end of two of them. The other one didn't get me that far.

Which one would you recommend me play next? Keep in mind I prefer deep stories over corny sex-scenes any day.

But seriously, I felt like I just got off an emotional roller-coaster after I finished the game. It touched me more than any film or book has.

fate is better than g-sen, but both are excellent. g-sen is only good at the end though really, while fate is good throughout

sudai play gsen =]

*sigh*

I need a game disc to install fate. I don't feel like 'acquiring' the ISO and mounting it tonight. I need to remember not to forget about this.

dont watch it. play it.

clannad, the vn/anime are similar in quality (vn is obv better but like...the time investment needed for the VN makes the anime just about equal in the end, plus u get awesome animation =p)

f/sn, it only covers one arc in the anime, and its like...not as good, idk, just play the game

Oh, I didn't know that. I guess I'll play it then.

Clannad's VN covers so much more than the anime, which makes it worth it, imo. I've played a little bit of it, I got through Misae's arc, and about 3/4 of the way through Tomoyo's. It's a lot better than the anime, but I still love the anime anyway. :p

I don't play VNs, I had a room mate who is 100% entrenched in Japan's culture and loves the **** out of VNs (had like 100+ played or some ****) and swears up and down by F/S-N as the best VN to ever exist.

I've technically only played the Phoenix Wright Series (and Investigations, but that's iffy) and Yume Miru Kasuri.

If they get any better than the latter, I may have to get a tissue box ready.

Phoenix Wright is amazing.

My brother has 999, I should steal it from him and play it, he'd probably never know. I don't even think he's played it yet.

I tried playing 999, but for....*cough*.....reasons some sort of security mechanism prevented me from leaving the initial room.

*cough*

Y'all should play Monster Tail. It's an awesome Metroidvania type game. It looks a lot more childish, but it's totally worth it. Granted, it may not be worth the buy due to how short it is, but I have no clue on that one *cough*. I beat it in 4 days playing like 3-7hrs a day. looool It's addicting
